Though AT&T and T-Mobile use some of the same network bands, only the GT-i9020A (which was for AT&T) works over the GT-i9020T (for T-Mobile). You might be able to SIM-unlock the i9020T, but there's no guarantees that even that way will work.
Spec-wise, the Nexus One had better hardware all around than the BlackBerry Storm and Storm 2. The Nexus One had a larger display, camera, faster CPU and GPU, and wifi capability (the Storm did not have this feature). The Storm was plagued with software issues, and complaints about the touchscreen keyboard and browser.
You should be able to find an unlocked version of the Nexus S (GSM) that can work at most of the network operators in India.
You could conceivably use the Tracfone service because they utilize multiple carrier networks, which includes AT&T and T-Mobile, which the Nexus 4 is compatible with.
Yes, you can reply or send texts using your voice. From the home screen, you can also use Google Now to dictate for you. Example would be "OK, Google (pause) text Bob". It will then ask what would you like to text, and again you can say it by voice.
You can. Microsoft released the mobile version of their Microsoft Office suite, called Office Mobile. You can also open an Excel spreadsheet using Google's Sheets app.
Yep! Excel is compatible with the Nexus 6. You can download it in the Play store.
Before proceeding, be sure to backup your data (all data will be lost when this process is done). Also note that there are risks when you modify any phone, no matter how small...proceed with caution! Here's the walkthrough:
If you're still not clear on this process, you can also look at the XDA Developers' walkthrough (see Related Links). Good luck!
The Google Nexus 10 tablet is a great alternative to the iPad for those who prefer to stay away from Apple products. The Google Nexus 10 is a tablet you can share with your friends or family. If you're sharing your tablet, the Google Nexus 10 is customizable so that each person using it can have their own settings. For example, each person could have their own homepage, storage, apps, email, wallpaper, and photos.
The Nexus One from my recollection was available most everywhere in the world. Even if it were not available in Ireland, you could have certainly picked it up from Great Britain and it would be usable.
There's various reasons that may have triggered a password request when getting into recovery mode, even though you never sncrypted it. Assuming your phone operates normally when booted, but you just can't get into TWRP, you may have to re-flash TWRP through Android's Software Development Kit (SDK). If worse case is you cannot get into your phone at all ("bricked"), you can also use the SDK software to fix it. Consult with the walkthrough courtesy of XDA Developers (see Related Link below).
Not out of the box. The Nexus 5's screen lock settings include Slide, Face Unlock, Pattern, PIN, and Password. However, you can get a third party fingerprint scanner that does a similar function to the iPhone 5S.
It was developed by Google in partnership with HTC. Development began in 2008, and was released in January 2010.

The IMEI number (International Mobile Station Equipment Identity) is and ID number that is specific to your phone. It can be used to track your phone if it were stolen, and can be blacklisted so it won't work for a carrier. There are methods to mask or change the IMEI number on a Nexus 5 or any Android device (rooting it and using a terminal emulator app after typing a code), but you run the risk of damaging your device if not done right. If you have to have the IMEI number changed for any reason, I would suggest contacting the manufacturer, either LG or Google in this case.
