Well it all started in the year 1999 when nickelback got roadrunner records. In 2000 nickelback the state was released. Its first single leader of men did well charting number 8 on billboard mainstream rock charts it was also a top 20 hit in canada. He has since played on a variety on studio recordings with other bands but plays mostly Jazz/Fusion for fun. Brandon Henry Kroeger the original drummer for Nickelback, is indeed the first cousin of both Chad and Mike Kroeger of Nickelback. No, Chad Kroeger and his brothers were raised in Hanna, Alberta. The sign in the town proclaims "Home of Nickleback", even though most of its residents detest them (but I think its just envy).

My sister lived there for a couple years and thought it was really cool that Nickleback was from there, but the residents always made comments like "I used to beat them up in highschool, They will make this town amazing!"

He has 1 brother named Mike Kroeger, who is the band's bassist.
