this only applies to players who actually started on opening day of the 72 season. the front number is the same font used during the last year in kc, the back number is the font used in the last year in philly. remember this only applied to the 9 starters on opening day. the rest of the players all had the same style numbers, coaches numbers were all together a different style with the managers number 1 and half inch longer than the coaches. the "a" on the managers and coaches hat were a third of an inch smaller,,,,,charlier o was the sole designer of the 72 uniform.
