if you go to hulu, there are a lot of dubbed episodes available. but it has the language. truthfully the language isnt that frequent or harsh as the show goes on. i dont know where to find the 4kids episodes

Luffy and the early strawhat crew met Laboon the whale when they entered the Grand Line. When first appeared in the series, Laboon had scars all over his head from bashing into the wall that seperates from the Red Line. Luffy battled Laboon, and vowed to meet Laboon soon, when he got stronger, so they could see who was truly the strongest. Before the crew left, Luffy painted the Straw Hat pirate skull on Laboon's head and told him not to ruin the mark by bashing into the wall. When Laboon was young, he followed Brook's ship. Brook and the crew played the song "Bink's Sake", and they became nakama. The crew decided they wouldn't be able to protect Laboon if they went any further, so they had Brook explain it to him, although Laboon refused to listen. The crew hid and pretended they weren't on the ship and sailed away, abandoning Laboon, hoping he wouldn't follow them. They arrived at the Twin Capes, and found out Laboon was following them the entire time, even through the storm they sailed through. The captain of the crew told Laboon to wait at the Twin Capes for two or three years while they sailed across the world. The crew ended up dying 10 years later in the New World, and Brook revived himself with the Revive Revive fruit, although he was a skeleton. Once Brook heard of the news about how Luffy and the crew met Laboon, he teared up, and vowed to meet Laboon once again in a year or two. It's currently been 50 years since Brook had seen Laboon.

One Piece is not set in a specfic year or time, seeing as it is a made up world by Eiichiro Oda (the creator of One Piece). It would also be rather difficult to set an estimate because there are mixes of modern day (for example, fridges) and olden days (when they went to Skypiea, they were amazed that something could record sound).
Most of the clothes seem very recent too, looking at Nami in particular, who almost always wears something vaguely fashionable. But then you have others, a bit like Blackbeard, who dress in the more commonly well known pirate sort of look.
I don't think Eiichiro Oda has ever mentioned a date.
The seasons are already figured out . . . the seasons change on the equinoxes (days and nights of equal length) and on the soltices (days and nights are the most different in length)

She is one of the four Yonkou and goes by the name "Big Mom"
Being a yonkou she is one of the four strongest pirates in the story, and she recently gained Fishman Island under her control. She also apparently owns a candy factory.
There is a lot of speculation that she is in fact Lola's mom that was mentioned in Thriller Bark.

No, there aren't. While there are some people that seem like they'd obviously become a couple (i.e. Usopp x Kaya) and others that have crushes (i.e. Boa Hancock), Oda keeps the romance out of One Piece.
