How do you make exploding pellets?
Well, How I did it.
A majority of .22 Air rifle pellets have a cavity at the rear of them and this is where the explosives will go.
1) Use strike anywhere matches, scrape off the flamable bit, powder it up with the back of a spoon and ram it into the cavity, Shoot and enjoy.
2) Use those little paper caps. Cut out the red circle and fold it up into a tiny ball and once again ram it into the little hole at the back of the pellet.
Ive tried and tested these and have had varied results, Good luck experimenting.

But the Model 1900 and owl trademark are both Iver Johnson marks. I suppose IJ could have made a few with that name sometime after H&A went out of business in 1915, but you probably have a "bitzer" combining parts of two similar guns.
Meaning of hitting a white owl but not killing it The owl flys away after a few minutes?
The white owl was probably a Barn Owl or Snowy Owl, and it may not have survived even though it flew away. Many birds that have been hit by cars, or smash into windows, suffer dramatic head trauma - brain swelling, loss of vision, and probably a terrible headache. These birds may fly away from the scene of the accident, only to settle in a quieter location until they can function again or until they fall victim to predators, hunger, or their injuries.
