I have been using Oxycontin for many years by taking the pill orally, for the past year I have changed from taking it by mouth to removing the coating on the pill, crushing it to a fine powder and snorting it, the same way someone would snort a line of cocaine The thing is I don't take it and never have taken this type of medication for pain like its prescribed for, I took it mainly just for fun because of the effects it has on me. Recently it has been a burden on my life being addicted to this stuff so I have decided to quit, I have tried many times cold turkey with no success I just keep going back to it because the withdrawal symptoms are so horrible, I mean man are they bad, especially for someone who has taken it for so long, but the best thing I ever did was get off this stuff, it ruled me life and was all I thought of, it consumed all my money and almost ruined my marriage, I'm just glade I have such a good woman at home who believed in me and knew if I kept trying I would get off this stuff and I finally have... to get to the point... I was taking 80 mg - 120 mg (even more some times) a day for a year by snorting it, of course that was stretched out over the day, I was snorting 20 mg - 40 mg each time I used during the day, from the time I stopped using to the time I actually felt good again and didn't have any outstanding detox symptoms took 8 days (8 days of hell) after the 8 days all I felt was a little stiff in the back and a little tired but with a good diet and a little exercise I was feeling good again, back to normal. 1 year of use = 8 days of horrible detox = feeling alright again Of course I should mention I had to seclude myself from the world for 2 1/2 weeks by going to my parents who live in a very remote part of eastern Canada where I couldn't get any Oxycontin even if I wanted to along with a 19 day program at a drug treatment center in Southern Ontario, my life is back in order and quiting Oxycontin was the best thing I ever did... good luck if your going thru the same thing and remember you can do it, life's better without it...trust me I know.

There i's no such thing as percoset 30. Percoset comes inn5 mg and 10 mg strengths and has 325 or 500 mg of tylinol i'n it. However oxycodone hcl comes i'n 15,30 mg strenths. The 30's are generally blue i'n color but can be white depending on brand. And yes they are smokeable when u chase them on tinfoil or use a meth pipe.

No. The absorption of any opiate depends on the form (liquid/solid/gas) and the route of administration (oral, intravenous, rectal, inhaled). While there are some advantages of certain routes of administration which bypass initial degradation by the liver, for the most part rectal administration (ie "up the butt") is not likely to lead to higher or quicker blood levels. IF you wanted to have greater rectal absorption, I would suggest a liquid, an opiate with greater absorption characteristics (fentanyl, for example) and prolonged contact time (holding an enema for example). This still has the dangers of overdose (death or respiratory depression with aspiration) since it is hard to judge the effect in advance. I would suggest sticking to swallowing your oxycodone.

It depends on what you mean by "worse". Oxycodone and codeine are very different painkillers. Oxycodone is more powerful than codeine. The first is more addictive than the latter. However 30mg codeine will cause more stomach upset and constipation than Oxycodone. Ask your doctor and or pharmacist.

As you can see both drugs metabolize into many different variations. When it comes down to an ordinary drug test, all these variations can be tested for and distuinguished from eachother, but the test results itself may just show positive for Opiates, or it may display the metabolites as well, indicating both Oxymorphone and Oxycodone use.

If it's in an area where non-prescription opiates like Heroin are very expensive or are lacking in quality, then they typically go for around $1 per mg. Often times users will want a higher milligram count per pill, so $5 a pill for 5mg pills may not phase your average junkie.

From your question I assume you are referring to brand name Percocet or generic oxycodone with Tylenol?

The most prescribed strength for Percocet is 325mg Tylenol and 5mg oxycodone, the opposite of what you wrote.

If you do truly mean to ask if one can take 325mg oxycodone with Tylenol I highly recommend you take this question to your doctor before trying such a thing. In most instances, taking this much oxycodone would be fatal.
