2mg of suboxone would equal how many percocets?

2mg of Suboxone = 0 percocets.

They have a completely different "feeling" and contain a totally different drug. Suboxone does not get you high. It only alleviates the negative symptoms associated with opiate withdrawal. Suboxone is also not an opiate, therefore you cannot create a standard such as "1 Suboxone = 1 Percocet" or whatever. Apples and Oranges.

What does Oxycontin metabolize into?

If your wondering what it will show up on a drug test here is what I know! I was in a program that tested my urine once a week. I was being tested by a normal five panel dip stick, meth, coc, THC, opi, Benz, and when i was being tested i was passing drug test while on Oxycontin. It wasn't until the program director figured out that Oxycontin didn't show up on a drug test that he had to special order "oxy" test strips. And the same is for percocet also. So I hope that helps answer your question a little. HXP

It metabolizes into noroxycodone and oxymorphone.

How difficult is it to get off 3 x 80mg Oxycontin taken for 2 years?

very very difficult, one would need to go to a rehab, stopping cold turkey would harm and possibly kill the person due to withdraws from such a powerful drug

*Edit from Tjeyw721: "Simply" (and I use that term loosely) withdrawing from opiates is not fatal, although you will feel like you want to kill yourself. Withdrawing cold turkey is very, VERY difficult. If you were being prescribed Oxycontin, talk to your doctor about tapering you slowly off the drug. If that isn't possible, you will want to get some sort of help (I personally recommend Suboxone, but Methadone works too, and you will need to be tapered off of these as well) to help get through the worst of your withdrawal. After that, it's a long battle, but worth it if you can make it! I havent yet, but I'm hoping one day I do. Good luck and take care!

What is a home detox method for Lortab?

\ The addictive agent in Lortabs is Hydrocodone -- a synthetic opioid. The REAL answer to this question goes as follows: Some years ago, addictive meds were defined as those your body built such a strong tolerance to that stopping cold was very dangerous and could even be fatal. Alcohol is one of these; babrbituates are another. Stopping barbitutae habits was a nightmare, because it wasn't uncommon for your patient to convulse on you and even die. Hugely dangerous, those addictions. Nowadays, addiction to hydrocodone is real alright, but unlike the meds from the bad old days, it won't kill you. In fact, it won't cause really acute symptoms like delerium tremons (from ETOH). Stopping a reasonably major hydrocodone addiction (say up to 4.4g per day) feels like you have a truly nasty flu -- no more and no less. So -- here's how you do it: # Get some time where you don't have duties are chores. Four days is likely more than enough. # Lay in a stock of GatorAde or some other sports drink. Drink lots of it all the time. # Stock up on food you can eat without having to do much in the kitchen beyond the microwave. Stuff you like. # Feel free with sugar foods -- this is a vacation. # Use Benadryl Flu Tabs or the like. Maybe some aspirin or Ibuprofen if you need it. Nothing prescription except any other prescription meds you're taking for other issues (like, if you're taking heart medication, of course continue it). # Rent enough movies. # Don't take incoming calls unless you want to. No bill collectors :}. # Tell everyone you're out with the flu. # Plan on sleeping a lot. # Stop the Lortabs. # And spend the next 4 days recovering. # Remember all through this that you're ill now but it'll be better soon. Nothing wrong with you -- just like a flu. # If you ever get scared or hurting during this, have someone on call to help you -- but you wont get scared or hurting. Honestly -- that's all there is to it -- IF you're ready to stop this habit. Best of luck.

What produces oxytocin?

oxytocin: a pituitary octapeptide hormone C43H66N12O12S2 that stimulates especially the contraction of uterine muscle and the secretion of milk.

Oxytocin ( /ˌɒksɨˈtoʊsɪn/) is a mammalian hormone that acts primarily as a neuromodulator in the brain. Oxytocin has the distinction of being the very first polypeptide hormone to be sequenced and synthesized biochemically, by Vincent du Vigneaud et al. in 1953.[1]

Oxytocin is best known for its roles in female reproduction. It is released in large amounts 1) after distension of the cervix and uterus during labor, and 2) after stimulation of the nipples, facilitating birth and breastfeeding. Recent studies have begun to investigate oxytocin's role in various behaviors, including orgasm, social recognition, pair bonding, anxiety, and maternal behaviors.[2] For this reason, it is sometimes referred to as the "love hormone".[3]

The word oxytocin is a corruption of the Greek ὼκυτοκίνη, ōkytokínē, "quick labor".

Vicodin* is a brand name for hydrocodone, which is different than oxycodone. The two are quite similar as they are both derived from codeine. Oxycodone however is about 50% stronger than hydrocodone (vicodin).

If you take Oxycontin can you take Tylenol with codeine?

Probably not, but maybe. You need to be tested in a doctor's office for such an allergy. You don't want to go into anaphylactic shock, so don't do any self testing!

Depending on how often a user smokes JWH-018 and how much of JWH-018 is smoked, presence of JWH-018 metabolites can be detected up to 72 hour after the initial use. Usually just the presence of the metabolites confirms ingestion.

"There are no cut-off levels for RTL's Synthetic Cannabinoid Test. Toxicology result reporting for JWH-018 and JWH-073 will indicate either 'Detected' or 'Not Detected.' RTL's test will utilize the most sophisticated, sensitive and specific equipment and technology available, LC/MS/MS (liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry) to confirm JWH-018 and JWH-073 metabolites."

Redwood Toxicology Laboratory, one of the two labs that can detect JWH in urine, announced in August 2010 that they have develoved and are offering a drug test that can detect JWH metabloitles:

Redwoods website states, "RTL now offers lab-based testing for the detection of JWH-018 and JWH-073 metabolites in urine. JWH-018 and JWH-073 are the primary synthetic cannabinoid receptor agonists responsible for the euphoric and psychoactive effects that imitate marijuana and are among the numerous compounds found in "herbal" incense or smoke blends. Conventional drug test panels will not detect the broad range of synthetic cannabinoids. They pass undetected in standard urine testing for such drugs as cocaine, marijuana, heroin and amphetamines. RTL's Synthetic Cannabinoid Test can be ordered with your standard panel to ensure JWH-018 and JWH-073 are detected."

Can Cymbalta oxycodone and lorazepam be taking together?

I can only speak from my experience, but yes. I'm on 60mg cymbalta taken once per day and 80mg oxycontin (extended release oxycodone) taken 3 times per day (total 240mg). I also use 100mg lyrica taken twice per day and 20-40mg immediate release oxycodone for breakthrough pain. This is due to spinal nerve damage and neuropathic pain.

That being said, I have taken lorazepam in addition to the above, but only every once in a while, not continuously. And I took the base dose, unfortunately i cannot remember what the 'base' dose of lorazepam is.

Do standard employment drug test check for oxycodone?

The standard 5-drug, or NIDA, test, will not detect oxycodone. However, unless you ask, and that would be stupid, there is no way of knowing which kind of drug test a particular employer uses. I know specifically of an employer that uses the standard test BUT adds a screen for hydrocodone (Vicodin). The only way to be sure you will pass is to submit a clean sample.
