What is anteverted anteflexed and bulky uterus?

Anteverted, anteflexed uterus means the uterus is facing forward in your abdomen instead of the usual way, which is backward. Bulky means the same thing as in common English-it's larger than is normal, which can be due to many things, the most common of which is fibroids.

What do you do when your stomach hurts really bad?

First off do you need to go to the bathroom? For women are you about to start your period? A good thing to do is get a warm wash cloth and put it on your stomach. You can also get a heating pad and lay on it. This is also good for cramps.

Do you urinate more when on your period?

Yes, it's normal. When the uterus enlarges it can put pressure on the bladder, making you feel like you need to pee more. Some women also have water retention and bloating before their periods starts, meaning they will pee a greater amount whilst menstruating.

Ovulation

What is the difference between ovulation fertilization and pregnancy?

  • Ovulation.
This is when a mature egg is released from the ovary, this occurs around two weeks before menstruation, the egg then travels down the fallopian tubes where it may be fertilized.

  • Fertilization.
This is when the egg released during ovulation is penetrated by sperm, one sperm finally joins with the egg and this is when conception occurs, the fertilized egg then travels down to the uterus.

  • Pregnancy.
This is when the fertilized egg - zygote or embryo - reaches the uterus and implants itself into the uterus wall, from there the embryo develops into a fetus and eventually onto being a baby.

What are signs of ovulation during your menstrual cycle?

There are many potential signs of ovulation:

  • Slightly raised basal body temperature.
  • Cervix positioned high, soft, and open.
  • Fertile quality cervical mucus.
  • Labia on one side of your vulva swollen.
  • Groin lymph node swollen on one side.
  • Ovulation cramps.
  • Ovulation spotting.
  • Fuller tender breasts.

The main signs are raised basal body temperature, cervical position, and cervical mucus - you track these changes when using Fertility Awareness Method, which is the best way to know when you are fertile and ovulating. You can use ovulation testing kits too but these aren't always reliable.

Typically ovulation will occur around 14 day before your period, but cycles can change.

Why do you get water infections?

Dont know exactly which ones your talking about so I will touch on a few. If your talking about ear infections that's because when water enters the ear drum and does not dry out, it is a perfect place for bacteria to form, then we get ear aches and the like. If your talking about in a already existing wound then that's because there are all sorts of stuff floating around in the water that enter the wound and get infected. There is also bacteria in ponds, rivers, lakes any water that does not move consistantly including pools and spas, that are not treated properly, either by polluters or not the right chemicals that bacteria grow in and enter the body through either a wound or any orafice on the body, ears, mouth, eyes and private areas. The ocean has the best of all world so to speak, it moves constantly and the salt content in the water does not allow bacteria to form on its own. Not to say that fish cant form bacteria, Im talking about the water itself.

Why does the stomach hurt when the period starts?

The uterus cramps because there are spasms that start the expulsion of the inner lining (your period). Usually Motrin or Tylenol will settle the pain and make it managable. Follow the bottle directions for dosing.

When is a woman's ovulation day?

Ovulation is usually 14 days AFTER your period, if you have a 28 day cycle. Always calculate fertile days to start 8-10 days after period and last for about one week. So if you want to get pregnant, aim at days 10-17 after period. If you don't want to get pregnant, use protection during these days. (FYI: Check for white discharge. It's a signal that you are in FERTILITY phase).

How much do inner forearm and wrist tattoos hurt. It will be a first one and am worried about leaving with a half-finished tattoo. Also anyone ever use emla cream?

First off I would not recommend using any topical deadening agents...Most of them you need to know a complete heart history of the client...Also will they inhibit the ink from taking....I can tell you from personal use that 10 % lidocaine creme worked great, for 15 minutes...But as the stuff wore off the pain was 3x as bad....Not worth it....

The inside of the arm hurts worse that the outside...Wherever the sun and wind hits you the most will hurt the least, as the skin will be tougher there. Now wherever one portion of your body joins up with another, these areas will hurt worse...Your skin is thinner and nerve endings probably closer to the surface....For the longest time I thot that the area immediately behind the hand where the wrist meets it was one of the most painful spots on my body..And if I were you I would move the tattoo at least one inch back from the hand....Inch and a half would be best.....Hope this helps....TatuBaron

P.S. Dont worry you can handle it, life is pain, a tattoo is simply a tattoo. TB

--I am a female and I have a tattoo on my wrist just 1/4 inch from the bend and a tattoo on the inside of my left arm, just under the elbow. [also a back tattoo and calve tattoo] I am not tough. I am extremely sensitive to pain. However, The two arm tattoos were not as bad as you would think. When getting either, I think it helps that you are able to exert some of the pain by balling your hand into a fist. It is going to hurt- That is a true story. But it will not be unbearable. My wrist was the least painful out of all four tattoos. Then my inner forearm, followed by my back. My leg hurt the most. LOL. My advice to you, eat well before hand, go in with a positive attitude, and a stress ball lol. Cheers- E

Tampons

Why do tampons make your cramps worse?

No one knows for certain because the only people who really research tampons are the tampon companies themselves, and it's unlikely they'd carry out research that may make tampons seem problematic - in other words anecdotal evidence and knowledge of female anatomy suggests that tampons do increase cramps, and that's not something tampon companies would want to prove.

Tampons can expand into the cervix, especially if you have a shorter vaginal canal and if you use length-ways expanding tampons such as Tampax or Playtex. Tampons also absorb vaginal moisture and it's believed that in pulling moisture from the vagina they also pull at vaginal walls which may increase cramps. Some also attribute chemical ingredients in commercial tampons with cramps.

How can you releive menstrual cramp?

due to high pottasium levels bananas are said to cure menstual cramp (period pain)

Answer

There are some yoga poses that help to get relieve for menstrual cramp. From the start to the end of the menstruation period, a woman should stick to the practice of selected asanas to remain healthy. But some asanas should be avoided that block the flow of menstrual flow and bloods.

The asanas like Adho Mukha Svanasana, Parsvottonasana, Ardha Chandrasana and Uttanasana will help during menstruation.

These asanas ease menstrual cramps, heavy bleeding, pelvic discomfort and the low back pain associated with menses. They also help smoothen out the emotional rough edges some women encounter at this time of their cycle.

A menstruating should avoid inverted poses like Viparita Karani, Adho Mukha Vrikshasana, arm-balances such as Bakasana.
