*Edit from Tjeyw721: "Simply" (and I use that term loosely) withdrawing from opiates is not fatal, although you will feel like you want to kill yourself. Withdrawing cold turkey is very, VERY difficult. If you were being prescribed Oxycontin, talk to your doctor about tapering you slowly off the drug. If that isn't possible, you will want to get some sort of help (I personally recommend Suboxone, but Methadone works too, and you will need to be tapered off of these as well) to help get through the worst of your withdrawal. After that, it's a long battle, but worth it if you can make it! I havent yet, but I'm hoping one day I do. Good luck and take care!

Nothing prescription except any other prescription meds you're taking for other issues (like, if you're taking heart medication, of course continue it). # Rent enough movies. # Don't take incoming calls unless you want to.
