Funny story, Brendon himself had said that they just accidentally left out the "!" when they printed their band name on a concert poster they were making. They were about to remake the poster but figured it didnt really matter as long as the poster was clear on what they were advertising and thought that nobody would notice anyway. Little did they know, many DID notice and freaked. Brendon prefers the "!" he says.
