The world's largest single-dish telescope used for astronomy and ionosphere studies is located in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. It is known as the Arecibo Observatory and has been instrumental in various scientific discoveries and research in radio astronomy and atmospheric science.
From a spiritual or religious perspective, different belief systems attribute creation to different sources such as a deity, the universe, or natural forces. From a scientific perspective, the current understanding is that the universe was created through the Big Bang and the formation of stars and galaxies over billions of years.
This kind of thing can cause so much needless stress for people. A gay thought does not make a person gay. In fact, many people in their 20's, 30's and beyond, may have a single gay encounter, or a brief 'fling', and this does not mean that the person is gay. There is also no requirement that straight people have this kind of experience. Think of it this way. We are, all of us, sexy. I mean this in a general sense of course; I wouldn't do well competing for degree of sex appeal against current movie stars. But as sexual and sexy people, we can at times be attracted to other sexual and sexy people, even of the same sex. People shouldn't go crazy over this, and this is absolutely NOT license to engage in unfaithfulness.
A common prayer to help protect you from enemies is the Prayer of St. Michael the Archangel. This prayer asks for protection against evil and to defend against the wickedness and snares of the devil. It is a powerful prayer for spiritual warfare.
It is estimated that around 31% of the world's population identifies as Christian, but not all of these individuals would consider themselves "born again" Christians. The specific percentage of born again Christians worldwide is difficult to accurately determine.

In the Church Of God In Christ (COGIC), the pastor is not typically a member of the Trustee Board. The Trustee Board is usually made up of appointed members responsible for managing the financial and property affairs of the church, while the pastor's role is primarily in spiritual leadership and pastoral care of the congregation.
I think the baptist are more solemn in their way of worship but some are not believing/embracing the ministry of the Holy Spirit such as speaking in tongues, prophecying, the workings of miracles....the ministry of the Holy Spirit particularly in the gifts of the Spirit as mentioned in 1 Cor. 12 & 14!

I'm not a Baptist, but my best friend is and she wants me to fix what is said above.
They do believe in miracles, for a miracle happened with her grandfather in South America.
Different Baptists have they're own opinions about speaking in tongues some believe it's fake, and other believe that it's real since it is mentioned in the Bible.
They do so believe in prophesying, they very much believe it.
The difference between the two churches, they're non. I'm a Foursquare myself, and I have many friend from every Christian church and they have no difference between them. Because they have the same faith, they read the same Bible, and they believe in the same things. The domination doesn't matter.
William Carlos Williams married to Florence Herman in 1912
The people were confused when they began to hear the apostles speak in different languages, they conclude that the apostles were drunk. but Apostle Peter had to step up and correct them reminding them of the prophecy from Joel how God will pour out his spirit upon all flesh and how every one both young and old, either male or female will manifest one particular gift of the spirit or the other.
Apostle Peter is therefore letting them know that they too can manifest such gifts of the spirit by first repenting from their sin and being baptize. search for peteradinoyi youtube channel to learn more about other prophecy in God's word that can positively transform your life.
Matthew 7:7,8 "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened."
Everyone who genuinely desires an in-depth understanding of the Bible can become effective in teaching God's Word. Two elements are required: a desire for knowledge of the truth and enthusiasm to share it with others.
Acts 8:30,31,35 "And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest? And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him. Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus."
As the believers in The Bible did, we also grow together as God’s family. We accomplish this by seeking out Bible fellowships where we can benefit from the counsel and teaching of more seasoned believers.
I Thessalonians 1:5,6 "For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake. And ye became followers [imitators] of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost:"
As we develop Word-centered thinking for Word-centered living, our enthusiasm is to teach God's Word to those who hunger and evidence His power in our lives.
I Corinthians 4:3 “But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self.”
When translated word-for-word, the word “judgment” is the word “day.” From God's viewpoint, the age of Grace in which we live is very brief. Today, man passes judgment and sentences; he directs the policy. Man does sit in judgment, but only for a brief period.
There is no Bible verse that specifically says "the eagle will fall." However, there are references to eagles in the Bible, such as in Job 39:27-30 and Proverbs 30:18-19, which describe the strength and agility of the eagle.
A sermon that is an example is more effective because it allows the listeners to see the principles or teachings in action. It brings the message to life and makes it relatable. On the other hand, an instructional sermon can be more theoretical and may not have the same impact or engagement with the audience.
The abbreviation for the office of "transitional" deacons (those men studying for the priesthood) is Rev Mr. [Reverend Mister]. Permanent Deacons are not supposed to use the term Rev Mr, but are to be know "Deacon"

I located the link below at the AG site...and it contains the following info:
Emil Boktor pastors Sharabia A/G in the capital city of Cairo that ministers weekly to more than 5,000 people and is the second-largest evangelical church in the Arab world. People sit on the platform, crowd the aisles and line the stairs that lead to a packed overflow room where the service is projected on a large screen. The congregation is saving funds for the purchase of land next to the church property, where they plan to build a larger sanctuary. Two years ago, they could not even have begun this process.
These words are from the song "Come Ye Disconsolate" by Thomas Moore.
A number of Christian rituals have roots in Jewish traditions. The celebration of the Jewish festival of Passover, which commemorates the exodus of Jews from captivity in Egypt, has been mixed with Easter from the beginning and the Hebrew word Pesach, originally meaning Passover, came to mean Easter as well.
Christian worshippers from all over the world gather in the Holy Land of Jerusalem for Easter celebration. Pilgrims congregate for an Easter sunrise service at the Garden tomb in Jerusalem. Easter mass is celebrated at the ancient Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem's walled Old City. Priests and monks chant the liturgy, as incense rises above the tomb where Christians believe Jesus rose from the dead.
In mainland Israel, orthodox Jews celebrate the Passover while Messianic Jews celebrate Easter like the rest of the Christians around the world. The different celebrations arise from the fact that Orthodox Jews do not accept Jesus Christ to be the Messiah sent from God, and therefore they do not celebrate his Crucifixion or his return from death.
During Easter many processions are held in Israel where groups travel the route of Jesus Christ's journey to Golgotha. The route is referred to as the Twelve Stations of the Cross.
In Genesis 15:13, when God made His covenant with Abram, He told him, "You can be sure that your descendants will be strangers in a foreign land, and they will be oppressed as slaves for four hundred years." But some scholars believe it was actually 480 years.
Yes, definitely. There may be some that don't but most do. But many Pentecostals do not believe in listening to any music that isn't about God, so they don't listen to country or rock or rap or anything like that. Again, not all Pentecostals believe that way, but many do.
