A Baldwin Acrosonic was Baldwins designation for its deluxe cabinet style in it's smaller pianos. While it is true that most commonly Acrosonics were spinet pianos, Baldwin also made Acrosonic console pianos. Generally a console piano is one that is 40" or taller and a spinet is a piano that is shorter than 40" down to about 36". Most Acrosonic pianos are now over 30 years old . Back in its hay-day the Acrosonic was considered a very good piano but unless you find one that is in exceptional condition, there are much better pianos available today from makers like Yamaha, Kawai, and even some Chinese made pianos. Today's Baldwin pianos are mostly made in China with a very few exceptions.

The diatonic scale that is played mostly on the black keys is F# major (also known enharmonically as Gb Major). The scale that is played only on black keys is the five note F# pentatonic scale. (AKA Gb pentatonic scale).

If you look at a keyboard such as on here: http://www.infovisual.info/04/041_en.html You will find that C is to the left of the two black notes. Then it carries on along the white notes. C, D, E, F, G, A, B, then starts again. C,D,E,F,G,A,B In between those white notes there are black notes. Look at one of the white keys, say it is C you are looking at. To the left of that note it is a flat of it. So it is C flat. However to the right of that note it is a sharp. So it is C sharp.

E# is F on the piano, as F is 1/2 step up from e. b# would likewise be C on the piano.

Do you mean a full size piano? If so you will need a mover to do this and that can run several hundred dollars. If you mean a small lap type one or the kind on a stand FedEx will probably cost you 100-200.

By definition percussion instrument is any object which produces a sound by being hit with an implement, shaken, rubbed, scraped, or by any other action which sets the object into vibration. The Cable-Nelson Piano you own according to your serial number was built in Chicago in 1909.
