User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The nationality of the main character in Pinocchio is Italian. The protagonist lives initially as a puppet created by the Italian village woodcarver Geppetto. That part of the story therefore overlaps in both the 1940-released Walt Disney animated and children's film classic and the nineteenth-century children's novel Le Avventure di Pinocchio ("The Adventures of Pinocchio") by Carlo Collodi (Lorenzini, November 24, 1826 - October 26, 1890).

What is the main idea of Pinocchio story?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

I think that the theme in Pinocchio is to keep dreaming and keep believing because "anything can happen if you just believe. Just think, it is significant, especially to children that Jimeny Cricket is the narrator because it shows that even the smallest of things can have their dreams come true. Meaning that all little children can have their own dream.

Another theme would be good and bad. Every time Pinocchio lies it become harder and harder to hide for his nose gets larger each time. Also towards the beginning, he is told that he will become a real boy if he behaves properly, inspiring young children to act and behave properly.

Some explanation for a children's fairy tale!

What would happen if Pinocchio said your nose will no?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

well when he sais my nose will grow nothing will happen meaning he was lying making his nose grow meaning he was telling the truth creating a loop hole which will means his nose will for ever keep extending and retracting.so the moral is that pinocchio shouldn't say my nose will now grow

another of my theories is that he'll say it once and the univerce will shatter and pinocchio will tumble through the viod until he dies that is if the laws of death and life apply outside the univerce

or maby both will happen

The story of Pinocchio was authored by Carlo Collodi. Within the story, his creator was Geppetto, the carpenter-cum-puppeteer.
Pinochio's father is Geppetto. Although the wooden puppet doesn't start out as a real boy, Geppetto is the puppet maker who created and loved Pinochio both while he was a puppet and after he became a boy.
