No. The bolt patterns are different. You will need a transmission (904 or 727) from a small block chrysler. Also, the flexplate and or torque convertors are balanced according to the specific engine used.
Not so fast. If the old engine was a slant 6, you will need to change the k-member. Depending on the year of the 340, you may need to get the correct flywheel or torque converter because some of these were externally balance. Early 340's were a forge crank and the later ones were a cast crank.
Easy pull old motor out put 340 in!!!!!
People are huffing air duster because it can get you high. Because of this they have recently added a bitterant into the canned air dusters which causes a bitter taste in mouth.
the paint code should be on the plate on the inner fender well.
That all depends on the engine you have and the rear gearing in the rearend.
try changing the ballast resistor on the firewall, it's the porceloin block with the wires going to it.
10 years of constant torture, every single day. ha ha ha
The rim size was 14" and the tire size was E70-14 on the 340 dusters and on the regular dusters it was 735-14.
Taste the water. If it taste sweet it is coolant and the heater core is leaking. Replace the heater core. If it is plain water, either the windshield is leaking or possible the cowl drain lines are plugged allowing water to leak inside the car.
It would probably be close to a 340 as the 340 is the same engine block as the 318. The stock 318ci has a 3.910 in. bore with a 3.31 in. stroke the very same stroke as a 340ci. The stock 340ci has a 4.04 in. bore. The .060 in. over bore would result in a 328ci engine. The formula for this is, 1/2 bore x 1/2 bore x 3.14 x stroke x number of cylinders.
