In order to copy Pokémon from Diamond to Battle Revolution, jJust go to the [Copy] icon, then click a few times; this is where you have to take out your DS with the inserted Pokémon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum game and turn the game on. Then go to the main menu of the Pokémon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum game and it should say "Connect to Wii" or something similar to that after you get a direct signal from the Wii into the DS. Click that and then it will take a few minutes to successfully get all of your Pokémon into the Wii. Go to the route just south(down) of Veilstone City after beating the Elite Four. There will be a new path that opened up. Go through that path and you'll be at Spring Path. Go through the grass, use Rock Climb to go up, go through the other grass, and use rock climb to go down. Go into the cave, and use defog. The fog will clear away. Then walk through any of the four doorways. Keep going through any of the four doorways until you get to a room with a creepy purple glow. If you didn't catch Giratina in the Distortion world, then it will be in there. After you battle Giratina, there will be a portal. Press 'A' when you're right in front of it, and pick 'Yes'. You can get only 6 rental passes. Each with 6 Pokemon. After beating the Poketopia Championship, the Gateway Colosseum turns into trade battle. In trade battles, you have to defeat other players then you can change any of your pPokemon use in the battle for any of the Pokemon that your opponent use in the bttle. After you beat Joe, you can keep them.

Pokemon stats depends of the rank. Pokemon have 1 or 2 random move and a random item. The other moves are already set for each species, and the item is choose from a list of items for an specific Pokemon.

There are 300 different types of Pokemon at trade battles. There are not include Pokemon that evolve over level 50, leyendaries and extremely weak and unevolved Pokemon (ex: magikarp, caterpie, babies).

You can find shiny rental Pokemon. Especially after defeat another colosseum using rentals and then play (win, lose or surrender) in gateway colosseum 6 times. At number 7 or 8, one of the trainers should have a shiny Pokemon.
