What Pokemon is best for murky cave in Pokemon Blue?
There is not really a specific Pokemon that is the best for exploring Wish Cave in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. Generally, though, there are some guidelines that you should chose your Pokemon under. They are as follows:
- Do not select a legendary Pokemon. They do not have outstanding stats on the lower levels and are very difficult to level up. Legendaries will only learn a new move every ten levels and need a great amount of experience points which is really not worth obtaining.
- Basic evolution Pokemon (Pokemon that do not evolve or are yet to evolve) and baby Pokemon are not a good idea for Wish Cave. While they may level up quickly, their stats are quite low for many levels and may faint early in the dungeon.
- Stage two and final evolution Pokemon are recommended for this exploration. They have decent stats and a good move set, even early on in their levels. While they do not level up as fast as the basic evolution Pokemon, they gain experience fast and can still level up decently.
- I recommend starter Pokemon evolutions. You have at least two to choose from and they are mostly of types which match-up well against most of the Pokemon you will encounter. Just be aware that there are a few Pokemon after the 20th floor that draw electrical moves towards them, making those attacks useless (if you are going to use Raichu).
