Im 6 months pregnant and my baby has not move since last night is that normal?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

It is nothing to worry about until you have movement on a regular basis and should keep track. If you notice a lack of movement, you should contact your doctor soon (don't panic this doesn't mean you are having a miscarriage, just room for concern and you doctor may want to induce you early to protect the health of you and your baby).

How do you know whether you are vomiting due to food poisoning or because you are pregnant?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Food poisoning sets in anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours after eating. It also makes you so violently sick that sometimes you cannot make it out of the bed.

Morning sickness or pregnancy nausea is normally not so violent and is often triggered by a smell or memory of a taste. It lasts alot longer than food poisoning as well.

If you think you have food poisoning though, you should really go to the hospital. I think food poisoning can kill you. Good luck.

What is Uterus size at 31 weeks?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

At 31 weeks the top of the uterus is approximately mid-way between the belly button and the bottom of the breast bone. How big you look depends on a lot of things, how good your abdominal muscles are, how tall you are, how slim or big you are/were etc. I have looked after several women who hardly appear to be pregnant at all, and a couple of young girls who have concealed their pregnancies even from their families until they have delivered full-term babies.

I cant see from the outside yet i have only gained 7lbs so far and was a slim build before.

Can you feel your baby move at 1-2 weeka of pregnancy?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

No at 6weeks your baby is still an embryo and it's arms and legs are still forming and would just be small buds at this point. You probably will start to feel your baby's movements shortly after the second trimester. I was able to feel my baby's flutters around 16weeks, so something for you to look forward to soon. Best of luck with your pregnancy.

I am 24 weeks pregnant and my baby doesn't move Is that normal?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The moving of your baby is usually very reassuring. It isn't unusual for a baby to have quiet times when there is not a lot of activity. It may help to lay on your side to notice if the baby is moving or if it is still. If you feel the baby is not as active as what seems normal, discuss it with your doctor. You can always visit your doctor to hear the baby's heartbeat, but in most instances, there is nothing to worry about. Good Luck, Stacey I am in my 5th month of pregnancy also,And it helps to lay on my back,or to lay on my side and just leave my hand on my stomach to catch its quick moves. While it may be normal in some cases I would just like to add that I was pregnant at four months my doc told me the baby was under weight and would be ok. At five months I hardley ever felt him move. At six month I had lost all my fluid and had him he only weighed one pound and almost did not make it he is healthy now. Just be very careful and make sure if you think something is not right go strait to your doctor.

Is it possible to feel fluttering at 2-4 weeks pregnant?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

I am 28 weeks pregnant and my ob tech as well as the sonographer, both say this is impossiable because at four weeks your baby has not developed enough weight to be felt. Most women are just becoming aware of there pregnancy at this point.

Are you allowed to eat pickles while pregnant?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

AnswerSome women do. I didn't crave anything but I did go off coffee, tea (common) chocolate and baked jacket potatoes. AnswerSome women do, some don't. Some women never have any weird cravings, and others do.

I had different food cravings with each of my three pregnancies: a certain kind of pizza your could get from only one place (45 min from our home); Cincinnati Chili with extra onions - every weekend; and raw cauliflower and cucumbers in Italian dressing, respectively.

Everyone is different. And you don't have to be pregnant to have weird cravings either... last summer I couldn't get enough pistachio ice cream, so every weekend my family would drive 25 minutes to the only ice cream place in our area where I find it -- of course, for some reason none of the local groceries stocked it at the time. Go figure.

AnswerI certainly didn't, but everyones different. I craved Wendy's smoothies ALL the time and couldn't go a day without one. :) AnswerLOL A common stereotypical craving... I DIDN'T actuallly.. but I did crave... I think ppl generally use pickles and chocolate ice cream as an example to show how odd the cravings can get... but I like that stuff NORMALLY lol... I craved bologna which I didn't even like (until then).. then it changed to fruity flavors (mostly cherry popsicles, cherry koolaid, and jellos) and frozen vegetables (cooked of course lol) So... some women crave... some don't... but we all crave DIFFERENT stuff... no one food is "common" to pregnancy.. just stay healthy and drink LOTS and LOTS of water .. cause those UTI's are killer! Pam Answersometimes...UNNGH!! MUST...HAVE...PICKLES!!!!

Answer

I'm pregnant now and i crave green apples i luv em but never had a craving for pickles but i do also crave salad all the time not that weird i suppose but that's just me LOL

Answer

I'm pregnant now and craving pickles all the time. This is my second pregnancy. My first pregnancy I craved lima beans and guacamole. Now I cannot stand either of the items. lol.

What if I don't feel sick or feel the baby at 5-6 weeks?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Many women experience "morning sickness" during the first trimester of their pregnancy and other women don't. However, women sometimes don't experience morning sickness until they are 6 weeks pregnant. If you do experience morning sickness you should have some relief by 14 weeks. Some women have a greater chance of having morning sickness - migraine sufferers, history of motion sickness, pregnant with multiples and if your family members experienced morning sickness. Consider yourself lucky if you are feeling well and don't worry about it!

You won't be able to feel the baby move until 16 - 22 weeks even though the baby starts to move around week 7. You will be able to see the baby move when you get an ultrasound. The baby's movement feels like butterflies in your stomach and will get stronger as your pregnancy progresses.

At what age of gestation does baby start move?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

I'm 7 months pregnant and as far as my doctor tells me, constant or almost constant movement is normal. We're up and moving around all day, why shouldn't the baby? You should see it start to decrease as your pregnancy progresses because the baby will be running out of room to move around, but even now (at 30 weeks) my baby is constantly kicking. Each fetus is different; some may move more than others and more activity in the womb may lead to a more active child once he/she is born.

I'm 9 months pregnant and can't feel the baby move?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

It should be, if you are concerned talk to your OB/GYN. You probably won't feel your baby kick until around week 16 and 22, even though the baby has been moving since week 7 or 8. You may have already witnessed these movements during an ultrasound. This is often felt as a fluttering feeling or a grasshopper walking across your belly during the first movements.

How many people will a 15 lb turkey feed?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The rule of thumb is 1/2 pound per serving. So 15 pounds should feed 30 people according to the books. BUT, this is based on a SERVING and a real human being's idea of a serving and a cookbook's idea of a serving is almost always different. If you're planning on feeding children, 30 is a good number, but if you're planning for adults, I would cut that number to 20 to allow for second helpings. I think it depends on what you are putting it in? I cook for a living and I would base your amounts on 3 people per lb.

What week do you feel your baby move?

User Avatar

Asked by Amanda1286

First time moms, not usually until 19 wks. Second time mommy's however, it begins as early as 15 wks. That's usually because the first time around you might be confusing your bubbling hungry belly for baby movements, where as the second time you know exactly what it feels like and you can tell if its just hunger bubbles. :)

When will you start to show of pregnancy?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

First off it is not your stomach per say that grows, it is your uterus. The uterus sits deep in the pelvis and usually fits in there until month 4 when it flips up over your symphysis pubis in need of more room. Every woman is going to be different though with our various body shapes and will be different with each pregnancy as the abdominal muscles change with each.

When do you start showing a stomach when you are pregnant?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Normal. With very very very little to no gain. you won't be able to notice you are pregnant until around 16-20 weeks but it also depends on your body; everyone is different but six weeks is way to early to see any change in your size of belly but fbreasts is a different story they are probably noticable larger!!

Does felt stick to felt?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The simple answer is yes, how well depends on a lot of factors, for example wool felt will stick to wool felt better than to acrylic "craft felt" will to acrylic, because it has more of a loop quality, (think of the loops on Velcro)

You want to try and match the felt types you want to stick together for best results. For example I wouldn't try acrylic with wool, I would use acrylic with acrylic and so on... Also very large or heavy felt pieces won't stick as well as thin, light ones. I

f you are making a piece you are putting a lot of effort into or you want to hold up well to wear and tear I would recommend wool felt if that's too costly I would use a wool blend felt. Hope this helps.
