Play a game, go on the computer, eat, draw, listen to music, clean, school work if u r in school, read a book, try memorizing a long poem or joke.... why would you not be able to go outside anyway, because its raining? take a risk and go out anyway

All of the above options, plus a few more to make 11 - include housework, filing and a few other things you have been putting off. Put the nicest ones in the middle, number them from 2 to 12, and roll two dice to decide which you will do for the next hour. Two rules -

a. don't put anything on the list you are not prepared to do, and

b. if the number comes up, you have to do it.

Being bored is a choice - you can always decide to do something to stop being bored. Here are some good ideas:

• Do something creative - write a story, paint a picture, knit or crochet or quilt, build something out of clay or blocks, make up riddles or jokes, or do anything at all that makes something
• Exercise your brain - work a puzzle, solve a riddle, answer a quiz, memorize your favorite songs, or do something else with your mind
• Exercise your body - do something active like taking a hike, swimming, bicycling, or just exercising
• Exercise your talent - practice whatever you're good at so you'll be even better - this can be a sport, music, a hobby, or just something you like to do
• Learn a new hobby - pick something you've seen someone else do and learn how to do it - maybe you can learn to juggle or whistle bird-calls or stand on your hands ...
• Go outside - lots of times you're just bored because you haven't left the house in too long - get outside and watch nature for awhile and you'll feel better
• Surf the web - type a random word into your search engine (you can open any book and put your finger down without looking to get a random word) and start clicking on links to see what you can learn and how far you can get - you'd be amazed at all the information you can find on the internet
• Get social - get with your friends and socialize - you don't have to do anything expensive, just get together and laugh and talk and enjoy each other's company
• Do something for someone else - see if an elderly or sick neighbor needs some chores done, or volunteer at the local hospital or nursing home, or just help your parents out around the house - doing something nice makes you feel really good and you won't be bored while you're working
