What are the fundamental elements of quran?

The main important principles or fundamentals of Islam religion are considered in the following:

  1. Monotheism: Islam, as its name means, is peace and the call for full submission to God, the one and only one, with no partner, no son, no father, no companion, no resemblance. This full submission to God leads to peace in yourself and between yourself and the universe that you are part of it.
  2. Muhammad prophethood: Prophet Muhammad is God messenger and prophet to call for Islam.
  3. Quran holy book: Quran, Islam holy book, was revealed by God to Prophet Muhammad through the Angel Gabriel. Quran is the text of God holy words that remained without single letter alteration or addition since Quran revelation to prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) until present and will remain as such until (with God promise) the Day of Judgment. See related question, below, on why Quran was revealed.
  4. Sunnah: Prophet Muhammad sayings, doings, and practices that are recorded and authenticated by sincere early Muslims and followed up by Muslims.
  5. Islam five pillars: These five pillars to be believed and followed up in by all Muslims. Denying any of them intentionally and knowingly by any Muslim gets him/her out of Islam faith. See related question, below, on Islam faith pillars. These five pillars are: 1) witness that no god except the one and only one God (Allah) and Muhammad is his messenger and prophet, 2) performing praying (Salat), 3) pay the alms giving (Zakat), 4) fasting Ramadan (Sawm), 5) and doing pilgrimage (Hajj) by who can afford it.
  6. Faith Principles: To have faith in:
    • God (Allah)
    • God Angels
    • God holy books (including Psalms, Torah, the Bible, and Quran)
    • God prophets (including Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad; peace upon them)
    • day of Judgment
    • Destiny
  7. Muslim conduct: To follow the Islam morals guided by the Quran and Prophet Muhammad Sunnah. See related questions, below, on Islam ethics and moral.
  8. Good deeds: Muslim is not only commanded to perform ritual worships but also, and equally important, to do good deeds for the benefit of oneself, family, community, and humanity.See related question, below, on Islam major teachings.
  9. No religion compulsion: You are created free and you have full choice to believe in the religion and principles that you find them correct. Only God, the Creator and the All-Knowing, will judge your choice on the day of Judgment then, in the other eternal life, you go either to Hell or to the Paradise (with God mercy).See related question, below, on Quran Golden rules.
  10. Cooperation for mankind goodness: God created people in different races, colors, peoples and tribes, and cultures not to live in conflicts but to compete in doing the good and to cooperate in piety and for mankind benefit. See related question, below, on how Muslims treat non Muslims.

Was Prophet Muhammad's wife a Christian?

Muhammad was the founder of Islam, and lived from 570 CE to 632 CE. He had multiple marriages, and these have been the focus of great interest to many, Muslim and infidel alike. The one very often seen as most controversial is his marriage to his close friend's nine-year-old daughter, Aisha bin Abu Bakr.

Who lead the prayer of Janazah Salah of Hazrat Muhammad SAW?

These were the following people who washed and buried the Prophet.

Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (He was the first to offer the prayer).

Abbas ibn Abdul Muttalib

Fadhl ibn Abbas

Qathm ibn Abbas

Usama bin Zayd bin Haritha

Aus bin Khuli Ansari

Nama-e-janaza was offered by many people, who ever was comming was offering prayers

Hazrat Ali a.s offered janaza prayer of Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) and Hazrat Abubakar,Hazrat Umar n Hazrat Usman escaped from Muhammad's Janaza(Funeral) just to occupy the Khilafa(Calipate)That's the reason Shia Muslims don't give any respect to Abu Bakar,Umar n Usman n they give the best place to Hazrat Ali cause he remain loyal n faithfull to Rasool Ullah even after his Death(Vasal). Sunnis lie about Janaza of Prophet cause they know very well that their beloved sahabah Abubakar,Umar n Usman escaped from janazah of Muhammad(PBUH) just to get khilafah of Muslims.

Why Muslims claim Muhammad as a prophet even though he never prophesied anything?

Answer AIslam is arguably based in part on Christianity, but Muslims believe that Jesus was not the son of God. They say that Jesus was one of the five great prophets and some believe that Muhammad was the greatest of all prophets. Answer BMuslims are commanded, per Quran, to believe equally in all God prophets and that the five greatest prophets are equally the following: Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad (peace be upon them all).

Quran says (meaning English translation):

{The Messenger (Muhammad) has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and [so have] the believers. All of them have believed in Allah and His angels and His books and His messengers, [saying], "We make no distinction between any of His messengers." And they say, "We hear and we obey. [We seek] Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the [final] destination." (285)}

[Quran, chapter 2, verse 285]

What did Allah tell muhamed?

That he would have the highest position of the Prophets. That he would be given a great river for he and his followers to drink from in Paradise. That his nation would out-number all others and number one half of the people in Paradise. That his nation would be the first to enter Paradise. That the book he was given - the Qur'an - would be protected from error. And he was promised other things, as well. Peace be upon him and upon all the Prophets and Messengers of God.

Are there more than 25 prophets in Islam?

AnswerThe Islamic definition of a prophet is someone who has been chosen and favoured by Allah (God) to convey his message to the people on earth and to bring them to believe in and worship him alone. In Islam there are two types of prophets, one is the Nabi who are prophets sent to consolidate previous messages. The second type is the Rasool who are high prophets or messengers as they were sent a revelation in the form of a holy book.

Islam has 124000 prophets. The Prophet Muhammad was the final and greatest of them. Though mostly it's the Semitic prophets of the Middle East that are mentioned in the Islamic faith. This isn't to say the Europeans, Native Americans, Africans, central Asians, Aborigines, South Pacificers, Indians, Far easterners etc weren't sent prophets as Muslims believe that Allah sent prophets to every people.

As well as the Prophet Muhammad - Other renowned prophets of Islam include Adam, Nuh (Noah), Musa (Moses), Harun (Aaron), Ibrahim (Abraham), Lut (Lot), Ismail (Ishmael), Is'haq (Isaac), Yacoob (Jacob), Yousef (Joseph), Daud (David), Sulaiman (Soloman), Yahya (John the baptist - though this isn't his role in Islam) & Isa (Jesus).

Others who are less known include Idris (Enoch*), Salih (Shaloh*), Hud (Eber*), Ayoub (Job), Zakariah, Shoaib (Jethro*), Dhulkifl (Eziekiel), Alias (Elijah), Alyasa (Elisha) & Yunus (Jonah)

The following are mentioned in hadith or known from Oral tradition; Ishaia (Isaiah), Sheeth (Seth), Uzair (Ezra), Danyal (Daniel), Armya (Jeremiah) & Samuel.

Dhul-Karnain, Joshua (Assistant to Moses), Imran (Father of Mary), Khidr & Luqman are all mentioned as great men but their prophethood hasn't been specified, so they may have just been great pious individuals favoured by Allah.

Islam is a religion which has very high respect for women, more than men. Men are always taken forward for every task, because women are delicate.

Example; would you keep diamonds more secure or charcoal?

think!

*************************************************************

The historian Ibn Saad tried to answer this question. His goal was not only to make a list of every woman who had ever met Muhammad but also to relate their biographies. This project is the final volume of his Tabaqat. I don't know how many women are listed in this book, but it's over 500.

Later on my hair grew (again) and my mother, Um Ruman, came to me while I was playing in a swing with some of my girl friends. She called me, and I went to her, not knowing what she wanted to do to me. She caught me by the hand and made me stand at the door of the house. I was breathless then, and when my breathing became Allright, she took some water and rubbed my face and head with it. Then she took me into the house. There in the house I saw some Ansari women who said, "Best wishes and Allah's Blessing and a good luck." Then she entrusted me to them and they prepared me (for the marriage). Unexpectedly Allah's Apostle came to me in the forenoon and my mother handed me over to him, and at that time I was a girl of nine years of age.

What is Prophet Muhammad's son name?

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) had both sons and daughters, the first of whom was al-Qaasim, from whom he took his kunya Abu'l-Qaasim. He died in childhood, and it was said that he lived until he was old enough to ride. Then came Zaynab, and it was said that she was older than al-Qaasim; then Ruqayyah, Umm Kulthoom and Faatimah. It was said concerning each of them that she was older than her two sisters. It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbaas that Ruqayyah was the oldest of the three and that Umm Kulthoom was the youngest. Then 'Abd-Allaah was born to him. There is some dispute as to whether he was born after his Prophethood began or before. Some scholars said that he was born after his Prophethood began. There is also some dispute as to whether he was al-Tayyib or al-Taahir, or whether they were other children; the correct view is that these were nicknames given to him; and Allaah knows best. These children were all born from Khadeejah and he had no children from any other wife. Then Ibraaheem was born to him from his concubine Maariyah al-Qibtiyyah in 8 AH. (Zaad al-Ma'aad, 1/103).

So the sons and daughters of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) were all born to him from his wife Umm al-Mu'mineen Khadeejah (may Allaah be pleased with her), apart from Ibraaheem, who was born from the Prophet's concubine Maariyah (may Allaah be pleased with her), who was given to him as a gift by al-Muqawqis, the king of Alexandria and the leader of the Copts.

According to the most correct opinion, he had seven children, three boys and four girls. The boys were:

1- al-Qaasim

2- 'Abd-Allaah

3- Ibraaheem

And

The girls were:

1- Zaynab

2- Ruqayyah

3- Umm Kulthoom

4- Faatimah

All of his children died during his lifetime, apart from Faatimah who died after him (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

How the holy Quran came down to mankind?

Answer

The Revelation of the book Quran Started around the year 610 CE at Ghaar-e-Hira (The mount Cave of Hiraa) when Muhammad (peace be upon him) was praying to GOD, God's Angel Gabriel took the message of God to Muhammad and told him to read, Muhammad replied that he didn't know how to read so he squeezed him in his arms and ask him again to read. it happens like this for three times, than the first word that was reveled in quran was "Iqra" means "Read" .

In 622 CE, prophet Muhammad left Mecca with his followers (due to sufferings in Mecca and being subject to assassination plot) to a city in the north named Yathrib (later Medina), where another Muslim community had begun to grow. The date of this emigration, year 622 CE, is marked beginning year for the Muslim lunar calendar called "Hijra Calendar".

Revelation of Quran to Mohamed continued until his death in year 632 CE.

The two groups after mohammed's death?

It split into sects.

It started as a political disagreement. Some Muslims (known today as the Shias or the Shiites) wanted Ali, the Prophet's cousin, to be the next leader. The rest of the Muslims (known today as the Sunnis) argued that the Prophet had chosen Abu Bakr when he had asked Abu Bakr to lead the prayer in his place while the Prophet was on his deathbed.

Of course, today, it doesn't matter who was the first leader. However, what started as a political disagreement has, with time, turned into a religious one. While they agree on the Quran, they have many disputes over Hadiths, arguing which are authentic and how they should be understood. In shortest terms, they have become two separate schools of thought.

Many Shias and Sunnis still live together peacefully, though. Disagreement doesn't necessarily mean the two are not compatible. In fact, many Muslims choose not to be known as Sunni or Shia, but just Muslim.

Why is muhammad important to muslims today?

Prophet Mohammed is very important for Islam because he only created the religion. The message to Prophet mohammed the children of Ismail was given by Angle Gabriel to follow Jesus as the true son of God. And to bring all the children of Ismail to the true God
