At this time Adderall has a patent on their extended release pills. I'm not sure when the patent is up, but as of now, no other company is allowed to produce a generic form of Adderall extended relief.

depending on how much they are perscribed, how accostomed to the drug they are, and how much was taken, if it is less than 120 mg and they are used to the effects of amphetamenes ur child will just spend the next 12 howers tweeking, and the next day recovering from the dopamene being relesed, if more dont pass go, go straight to emergancy room .... that said if its a high dose but not phisicly harmfull its a good idea to moniter him/her and make sure he/she dosent start exibiting profuse sweating or convoltions if the dose was more than 100 mg. evryones body reacts diffrently but genraly the lethal dose of adderal xr is around 145-180 mg for the avrege person depending on weight and aclaminity to the drug. in my younger days i was prescibed concerta wich is the same drug diffrent company and while im not proud of it i did abuse it quite a bit, the thing i would watch is, now that your child knows what this medication can do, moniter the meds closely to make sure it dose not start ( getting droped down the drain) or dissapering abnormaly fast because it can be highly highly addictive when used in doses greater than prescribed...... as one parent to another i hope this helps and i hope your kid is ok

I have been prescribed 10mg adderall 2x a day recently, and I also get prescribed 7.5mg of percocet 4x a day. I have not noticed any adverse affects, except feeling a bit more tired than usual, but that may also be caused by my body adjusting to the adderall itself. Hope this helps. really intensely focused. your heart races really quickly. you get talkative. your body temperature rises. sometimes a little fidgety. music sounds awesome. this is all coming from a person who doesn't have adhd mind you but one that takes it to study.

I am a Registered Nurse. I would not recommend taking Adderall with dietary supplements unless you check with your doctor. Some of your supplements may cause an unsafe increase in heart rate and/or blood pressure. Definitely do no take Adderall with any appetite suppressants unless you discuss this with your doctor.

Answer: Yes, you can. However you need to first talk to your doctor concerning the risks and benefits of taking both. I can tell you of some risks, though. Tramadol HCL(brand name :Ultram )has been shown to cause opiod-dependency although not as likely as with other opiods. Dependence usually occurs with higher dosage and long-term use. You should be informed that the withdrawal symptoms of this drug are extremely uncomfortable. Most people have feelings of depression or even suicide. If you do become dependent of your Ultram (which is1/6 morphine, I might add) than please do not take it with Adderal because this can be a dangerous combination. Adderall has an even greater risk of dependence and some of the same withdrawal effects. If you are taking a safe or correct dosage of both of these medications under the guidance of you doctor than you should be fine. Its when you get dependent on these types of drugs that things get ugly.

There is a contraindiction between Adderall and Celexa, meaning they should NOT be taken together UNLESS you are under the supervision of a physician.
