Puberty and Adolescence

Because you are going through a lot of changes and are making a major transition in life, from childhood to adolescence (being a teenager). Your body is growing and changing, and the way people treat you, and their expectations of you are also changing. Meanwhile, very potent chemicals called hormones are coursing through your bloodstream. These can affect your mood, make you feel jumpy, irritable, etc.

Two important things to remember: 1) it will pass, and things will get better; and

The apocrine sweat glands become active during puberty. They release a sweat that is very oily. This oil is degraded by bacteria that is normally present on the skin and gives off the typical "sweaty smell".

It depends. An average girl's period can last from 3 to 7 days. If you bleed for more than three days, and you have, say, a week period, the fifth day of the cycle is very light. Like spotting. Most people don't need more than just a pantyliner when it comes to that day.

You may also feel the urge to masturbate and when you do at some point you will eventually produce sperm. Oh and your voice will "break" and lower in pitch as your larynx (voice box or Adam's apple) enlarges and you'll also suffer from abrupt mood swings (your family will suffer because of them too). There is no definitive end point to puberty. By 21 or so years of age (if not sooner) you probably have reached your maximum height and your penis will probably have reached its maximum length but muscle mass and body hair may continue to extend after this age and may continue into the mid thirties or perhaps even later. The mind of a boy will also change and he will develop adult attitutes and ways of thinking. As part of this process teenagers often become rebellious. Initially rebellion may be limited to disagreements with their own parents but soon they begin to question other parts of society, religon, laws and virtually everything else. This is good, it is the way things are meant to be. As a young child you accept unquestioningly the decisions of your parents. As you reach puberty you begin to question everything, it is part of the process of growing independent, of become an adult yourself who is capable of making his own decisions. Moods are greatly influenced by hormone levels and at puberty the body is awash with hormones, which can lead to very intense feelings and hugely variable mood swings. One moment you're on top of the world and the next minute you hate yourself and want to die. These feelings are typical and eventually, as the process of puberty tails off, the mood swings will lessen. You'll develop your own personality and ideas, which will be different from those of your parents but not necessarily bought lock stock and barrel from your favourite band or movie. The girls grow hair on their vagina and underarms and then she grows boobs. Then she starts to have a white liquid come out from her vagina. this is a sign of getting t=her periods.

Not really. The hair is there for a reason and the reason is ventilation. It's easier to get yeast infections if there's no hair and you're wearing tight clothes. If you do shave leave some. And who wants to look like a 12 yo girl anyways.

Yes. It is possible for a boy at about the age of 13-14 or older to develp a lump in their breast. It will make your breast bigger like man boobs and kind of lumpy and pointy. Your breast will feel tender and will hurt a little when they are hit or tapped. They occur because their is an imbalance of your hormone level. A male teenager might have a little more estrogen (female's have this) and less testosterone (males). This happens to about 30% of males during puberty. It may intend to be very embarrasing and yes it is. I am 14 and I have it. I have researched it for quite a while and know about it. I freaked out when I realized it but found out it was normal so I felt better. It may go away in 4-6 months. Maybe even in a year. That's what some say. Well, you need evry single one of them but the most important one id yhe endocrine system.

If u sperm while puberty don't worry it's normal.

To "see" anything your simply look. If you wish to know if you have pubic hair, simply pull down your trousers and underpants and take a look. If you can see any hairs close to the base of your penis it is safe to say that you have got pubic hair and if you can't see any then it seems safe to say that you haven't got any. If you wish to know how you can see if some other boy has pubic hairs you could try asking him. There is no other way of finding out other than spying on him, which is a bit creepy to say the least and also illegal.
