It generally starts around 12 or 13 years of age and the majority of the changes will be over by the end of the teens although growth of body hair and muscles might continue into the late 30s or early 40s. So you could say most of the changes will be over in 5 to 7 years.
How can you tell when you reach puberty?
i started puberty when i was 11 and a half i first started to get blond hair at the base of my penis, then i had my wet dream when i was 12, now im 13 and have some armpit hair. my penis is 5 and a half inches. not sure if im normal though
They hit puberty around age 13. Some males can hit it earlier, some later. I personally hit it when I just turned 12. I'm not sure what you mean by "how", though. It relatively the same as females, as the sex hormones are going wild. In boys, the testicles start growing and doing their two main functions: Producing hormones and sperm. The male foreskin will also start to enlarge. A well-known feature of puberty is the Adams apple and the lowering of the males voice from high pitched to low pitched. At the end of puberty, the boy (or man at this point) will have much heavier bones and twice as heavier skeletal muscles.
How do you know what stage of puberty you are in?
Puberty can sometimes take up to 8 years to complete so there isnt really a time where it starts and stops. A lot of things will change and it will happen at different times. Your thoughts change, voice changes, you grow in different places. For males they will grow more defined muscles and get taller. Their reproductive organs will enlarge and hormones will be raging.
For females their features become more sharp and defined, they grow breasts and their hips widen and they will get taller. They will also get their period
Teenagers tend to be very sexually aroused a lot and this will be a trait of puberty. Their emotions will be up and down and they will have mood swings.
It can start anytime from 8-years-old until around 16-years-old. Although on average around 10-11 for Girls and 12-13 for Boys. Girls generally start and finish Puberty a year or so before boys of a similar age. It takes several years to progress through Puberty into an adult.
Boys: The signs of the onset of puberty can include the following in any order:
1.) Testicular enlargement begins.
2.) Pubic hair will begin to grow around the genitals and particularly above the Penis.
3.) Body, underarm and facial hair begins to grow.
4.) Voice change (often deepens in tone).
5.) Growth in height and weight (varies depending on genetics).
6.) Body odor, sweat and acne begins.
7.) Muscles start to develop.
8.) Mixed messages from brain causes clumsiness, laziness, mood swings, argumentative.
9.) Sexual desires begin along with masturbation.
10.) Privacy and extreme cleanliness or lack of hygiene.
Girls: The signs of the onset of puberty can include the following:
1.) Breast development (buds begin to develop).
2.) Pubic hair will begin to grow, forming the "pubic triangle".
3.) Body hair (mainly armpit hair).
4.) Hips begin to widen.
5.) Growth in height and weight (varies depending on genetics).
6.) Body odors and Acne begins.
7.) Menarche (first period) starts.
8.) Mixed messages from brain causes clumsiness, laziness, mood swings, argumentative.
9.) Sexual desires begin along with masturbation.
10.) Privacy and constant titivating, make-up, hair washing.
Some signs of Puberty in boys are things like growing hair in your armpits and around the genitals. You may have heard people say stuff like "his balls probably haven't dropped". Meaning the testes have not descended. In fact, a boys balls drop just after birth. This is not part of Puberty. The testes do begin to grow quicker and hang lower from the abdomen though. You may also see your penis growing longer and thicker during puberty. Your voice may crack or break making it sound deeper in tone, although that doesn't usually happen until midway through puberty. And it doesn't usually happen at once, it usually occurs over a week or so. Growth spurts occur and may cause aches and pains.
Some signs of puberty in girls could be noticing that your hips are getting wider, you start growing pubic hairs in your vaginal area. You may feel sore as your breasts begin to bud. Also getting your period is a big part of puberty that can happen around 10-14, but some girls just sprout into women at a later age. Puberty in women can start as early as 7 but that is very uncommon and most women hit puberty between 10-14. Whatever happens it will be right for you. When you feel you are about to have your first period it is a good idea to have your mom about so she is aware you need items and a little help in understanding what to do. Growth spurts occur and can cause aches and pains.
See the related link below for more information on Puberty for boys and girls.
You in puberty if your breasts start to grow and you start having growth spurts. Eventually you'll get white discharge and periods.
well if you are a male first you get a deeper voice and get pubic hair and armpit hair then you probably get more pimples than usual and also your shoulders widen and your muscle mass increases. If you are female you will get your period for the first time and about every month after that (at the beginning it might not be every month but most) and your hips widen and your breasts grow.
You will know when you have hit puberty when you have irrational mood swings, if your a girl your breasts will enlarge and form and your period will start (some people later than others), your hips will take form and you will get a more hourglass figure. if you are a boy your shoulders will broaden, you might notice a change in your penis, your voice will start to become deeper, sometimes when your body is going through this change you might get sudden erections. But both boys and Girls will notice pubic hair starting to grow.
This process usually starts in the ages of 12-15.
Why are some girls vagina's loose?
All girls vagina's are not the same. There is nothing abnormal about whether they are loose or more compact. They all serve the same function. We might ask why are some boys penis are small while others are large. In ether case that is how we are made.
Answer- There are four possible causes for sexually debilitating "looseness"
#1.Childbirth. #2.Fisting. #3.Using over-sized sex toys. #4. A Statistical Anomaly
#1 Women can "bounce back" to nearly normal a few months after childbirth, but some don't. Usually this isn't too severe, and can be fixed with a regimen of Kegels. The chances of becoming "too loose" increase after every birth, but aren't that high unless you have children in a cluster. For example: Four births over a period of four years.
#2. Fisting, if not done properly, can cause this as well. Fisting should be done slowly with lots of lube, only after the vagina is fully tented, and stimulation during the act should be provided by small, careful movements. The vagina should be given time to recover after each session (at least 3-4 weeks) Extreme fisting (double fisting, punching, etc) should be avoided altogether, if one wants to avoid becoming "loose".
#3. Over-sized sex toys will have much the same effect as fisting, but can be even worse (in terms of causing looseness) because of the instinct to thrust while pleasuring oneself with a penis-shaped object.
#4. Statistical anomaly. These two possible causes are very unlikely, but are possible. Vaginae come in many sizes, so a woman might start out with a vagina that is "too loose". A woman might also become involved with a man with a statistically improbable penis (in terms of girth), but even so, vaginal intercourse very (very) rarely causes permanent stretching.
Through the weakening of the muscles that the vagina uses to form around what is inside of it, and through the stretching of the tissue of the vagina itself, a woman can become "too loose".
Surgical techniques attempt to fix this by altering the tissue (through techniques designed to repair tears and holes in the vagina), but surgeries should be avoided, as the tissue doesn't need to be altered in this way to restore tightness.
By strengthening the muscles in and around the vagina, tightness can be restored. A regimen of Kegels can be used to accomplish this, and they will also help prevent problems that can arise from looseness, such as incontinence and prolapse.
In some cases, Kegels alone might not be able to produce the desired outcome. If the vagina has been loosened to too great of a degree, the Kegels might only affect the vaginal opening (in terms of tightness), this will leave the rest of the vagina past the opening "loose". In these cases one should look into devices/regimens made to strengthen the muscles further inside. (These a muscles are what allow the vagina to "form around whatever is inside of it"). Care should be taken when researching/buying/using such devices, and people knowledgeable about them should be consulted.
-The vagina might be able to pass a baby's head, but it isn't magic. People who use birth as an example against the possibility of a vagina stretching, do a disservice to those who have been left loose, and possibly incontinent, by giving birth. (Not every birth results in this, all women are different)
-Sorry about the errors, I don't have the time right now to proofread it properly, but I felt that the women who have this problem deserve more than the inevitable "no, because women can give birth" answer that always shows up in reply to this area of inquiry.
Why are sebaceous glands most active during puberty?
increased levels of androgens (male hormones) cause the glands to produce too much sebum. When excess sebum combines with dead, sticky skin cells, a hard plug, or comedo, forms that blocks the pore

How does the endocrine system affect puberty?
The arrival of puberty is when the body starts changing and producing the secondary sexual characteristics. This in turn is kick-started by an increase in hormone production controlled by the pituitary gland at the base of the brain. It is these androgen hormones that control the maturation of the body. Testosterone increases muscle growth, maturation of the sexual organs and production of sperm.

How can you go through puberty at 11?
The start of puberty in boys generally occurs between 10 and 14. The first thing a boy usually notices is that he produces (emits) semen, either in his sleep or when masturbating. Things like the start of facial hair and the voice breaking (becoming much deeper) follow later.
What are the major developments during puberty?
As you've asked the question in the Male Puberty category I'll just stick to boys, in the answer. Puberty is very variable. Boys can start it at different ages and they don't all go through the various stages in the same order. Here at the visible signs of puberty, which might happen in any order... growth of hair on your scrotum and in the region of your penis (also around your anus), growth of hair on your ankles and in your armpits. Growth of facial hair. Your penis will get longer and thicker, your scrotum will get darker in colour and hang lower to accomodate the increasing size of your testes. You will sweat more and your sweat will begin to smell. You may get spots and blackheads. You will grow taller and your muscles will develop. You will find yourself think about sex a lot and you will get erections. You may find yourself mentally comparing the size of your own penis with the penises of other boys in the showers at school, this doesn't necessarily mean that you are gay, just that you are curious which is perfectly normal. You may also feel the urge to masturbate and when you do at some point you will eventually produce sperm. Oh and your voice will "break" and lower in pitch as your larynx (voice box or Adam's apple) enlarges and you'll also suffer from abrupt mood swings (your family will suffer because of them too). There is no definitive end point to puberty. By 21 or so years of age (if not sooner) you probably have reached your maximum height and your penis will probably have reached its maximum length but muscle mass and body hair may continue to extend after this age and may continue into the mid thirties or perhaps even later. The mind of a boy will also change and he will develop adult attitutes and ways of thinking. As part of this process teenagers often become rebellious. Initially rebellion may be limited to disagreements with their own parents but soon they begin to question other parts of society, religon, laws and virtually everything else. This is good, it is the way things are meant to be. As a young child you accept unquestioningly the decisions of your parents. As you reach puberty you begin to question everything, it is part of the process of growing independent, of become an adult yourself who is capable of making his own decisions. Moods are greatly influenced by hormone levels and at puberty the body is awash with hormones, which can lead to very intense feelings and hugely variable mood swings. One moment you're on top of the world and the next minute you hate yourself and want to die. These feelings are typical and eventually, as the process of puberty tails off, the mood swings will lessen. You'll develop your own personality and ideas, which will be different from those of your parents but not necessarily bought lock stock and barrel from your favourite band or movie.
How does Asperger's Syndrome affect puberty?
Asperger's Syndrome will not physically impact on your child's growth, but my brother has Asperger's Syndrome and he needed special attention at school because classrooms are a 'scary' place for him. What do the teenagers say are the worst bits about puberty?
One of the challenging aspects is just the complications of puberty itself. It is embarrassing if you are a male when you voice cracks, when you are a female it is embarrassing at first to buy feminine products (i.e tampons, pads, etc.) or start your period without any notice. Another challenging aspect is trying to fit in. You are too young to have your drivers license but you are too old to be treated like you are 8 or something. This can create troubled relationships with your parents because you feel embarrassed to be around them in public. It can also be challenging to fit in with others or feel "normal" puberty can cause you to feel extra self conscious about yourself because you can be prone to weight gain, acne, etc.
