Puberty and Adolescence

A lot of girls feel this when going through puberty. Puberty can be a very confusing time for teenagers. It is a time when they need answers to many subjects about their bodies, but it can be very embarrassing for them to ask these questions. They can feel alone and lost just as you have described.

Puberty lasts for just a few years, it may seem a long time but in comparison to the rest of your life it is a click of the fingers. You will feel much better when you come out the other side and into adulthood. You will understand how your body works and will be on top of the world and wanting to enjoy yourself.

Also try talking with friends at School as this is the most common way a girl finds out about things that's important to her. Sometimes Mothers and Fathers cannot talk about the subject for fear of being embarrassed or embarrassing the teenager but they will know what it is like to go through puberty as all adults have.

Puberty allows the mind to mature (unfortunately it doesnt work for everyone). It sharpens your sex drive, strengthens your emothions etc. Basically, magnifies everything that builds up who you are.

You either get pregnant which I don't recommend at your age and even then there are no guarantees you can breastfeed, or you try pills from the doctor which might get you to start lactating. They are on prescription and not given to minors though. Women who adopt try them. So get that nonsense out of your head. It's not fun when your breasts are tender and hurt and when your clothes get ruined and you can't get the stains out because you will be leaking at any moment.

Puberty is the process where our body becomes sexually fertile. Also emotionally mature enough to take our own decisions.

There are two types of sweat glands, eccrine and apocrine.

The eccrine sweat glands are for cooling the body and are active your entire life and are located just about all over your body.

The apocrine sweat glands are the ones that occur in places like your arm pits, crotch, and peri-anal areas. They are the one that increase their secretions after the onset of puberty.

They are the uterus, vagina and ovaries.

All people are individual as to when they reach puberty. You can have all "hair" growing as well as have breasts but still no period. Some women reach puberty at a very young age and then there have been some that don't reach puberty as late as 18. It is common to reach puberty between 10-13 but don't be discouraged if you do not receive your period during this time.
