9 year old pug if you bring a puppy at home will that make him sad?
Yes, it will make it sad. No matter how old the dog is, it will still make it sad. The worst ending will be, these two dogs will put on to a fight, maybe one, or even two of them will die. Suggestion, not to buy one more dog if there are another one.
A different answer:
The pug might be upset for a short while, but it is very unlikely that an adult dog would attack or hurt a puppy. In most cases, an older dog will quickly identify the new puppy as exactly what it is: a new member of the pack and part of the family to be protected and cared for. It is a natural aspect of a dog's nature to recognize young puppies as babies needing protection and training.
You can help in the transition by introducing the puppy to the older dog outside the house, that is, before the puppy comes into the older dog's territory. Then let the older dog see you (the Alpha of the pack) bring the new pup into the house. You could give the new puppy its own bowl, blanket, bed and toys, and make it clear that the older dog's things are off limits. However, it's very likely that the older dog will quickly welcome the newcomer to its blanket, toys, etc.

It sounds like your dog had a seizure. Talk to your vet about it. If your dog has another episode, close any open doors so your dog doesn't fall down steps. If your dog is having seizures, your vet can prescribe an inexpensive medicine that will help. Dogs with seizures can live full, happy lives.
What website has a pug licking a screen?
Check the link I just added below, I think it's the one you want. Some people email it to others, telling them it's a "cleaner for their computer monitor".
I have a pug as well.. and he does the same thing, as if something is caught in his nose or throat... It kind of sounds like a coarse rattling (like when a guy hawks a loogie) The first time it happened it made me think he was choking and all I could think to do was dislodge it. I cupped my hands around his face and blew air into his nose as hard as I could... It stopped it so I wonder if it is some kind of mucous build up in his sinuses. It happens on and off and that is the only thing that makes him stop. Sorry I couldn't tell you what it is, but that's atleast an idea of what to do if your pug can't stop the problem himself.
Some people use it to treat diarrhea, indigestion, constipation, and other disorders of the gastrointestinal tract; menstrual and menopausal problems; chronic pain; migraine; arthritis; toothache; anxiety; and depression

Does it hurt a pug to uncurl his tail?
No it doesn't hurt. If you slowly pull it down and keep your hand on the tail, it will remain straight. But if you slowly pull then let go it would just curl up again. It wont stay straight like that forever though....it might if you use hair straighteners ( but don't cause that would be exceptionally cruel)!
You can expect the average pug puppy to cost between $200-600 dollars. This is because Pugs can give birth fairly easily and don't need artificial insemination or c-sections that tend to add another thousand dollars to the price tag of some other dog breeds. Comparing pugs to the other dog breeds, they are not a very expensive breed to care for, but they are still dogs and do cost money to own.
At what age does your pug stop getting pregnant?
When she hits menopug! Ha! Bad joke and I know it. Sorry.
it depends on the dogs personalty where they like water, but bulldogs, french bulldogs, basset hounds and pugs are not meant to swim, there short legs and wide bodies make them terrible swimmers and even if they like the water you have to be careful because they can easily get pulled under or drown. If you want to take your pug swimming watch them very carefully and keep them near you, just because they are not built to swim doesnt mean they wont try, and if they don't want to swim, don't force them, they are just aware that they really cant. Always be cautiuos with dogs and water, even water dogs can get stuck in a pool or swept out by the sea, if they want to swim that's fine but it is your responsiblty to be the lifeguard
Why can't pugs hind legs bend so they can sit and walk like other dogs?
