Never. They constantly grow. The reason is unknown to me, but if your rodent is chewing on the bars of its cage, or something similar, it is normal. Just let it chew, unless it is chewing straight through the bar, in which case, get a new cage (this is unlikely to happen to you, but you may lose your pet if it gets out because it chewed so much).

Where do you get good and breeded rabbits?

I would recommend looking at some local pet shelters. That way you know that they're healthy, and they're used to being handled. I got a bunny from a pet store once, and he just hated human contact, because no one had ever handled him while he was there, and he was an adult rabbit.

Can you give rabbits water in a bowl?

Definitely! Bunnies are just like us as in they need food and water, but not necessarily the same kind of food as us!

If you go down to your local pet store they will have bunny/rabbit drinking bottles which you can just attach to the side of the cage for them to drink out. You could also use a dish for water (as you would for a cat or dog). Some rabbits prefer one over the other, and in order to encourage them to drink enough water, you should give them whichever they prefer. Dehydration can lead to gut impaction in bunnies, and you definitely want to avoid that!

If you use a bowl and your rabbit likes to throw things, make sure to use either a heavy ceramic crock that the rabbit can't throw, or else use a metal dish that won't break when thrown.

Whatever you use, make sure you wash the bowl/bottle daily and replace the water daily -- don't just top it up because the water will turn stale and it won't taste nice, and the rabbit won't want to drink it. Pay especially attention to cleaning the nozzle on a bottle, if you use one, because it can develop mould and/or rust.

Is a rabbit born from an egg or its mother?

The kangaroo rat is a placental mammal (and a different species from the marsupial known as the rat-kangaroo of Australia). Therefore, it gives birth to live young. The only egg-laying mammals are monotremes, which includes just the platypus and the two species of echidna.

What should you do if your new mini rex rabbit keeps having seizures?

I had a male mini rex that would have a seizure every time he heard a strange noise....lawnmowers were the worst. Try keeping your rabbit in a quiet area where there are no startling sounds and that might help. I also heard that male mini rexes were more likely to suffer from seizures. My female never had a problem and is 8 years old now.

WillowArcane here If the issue is not noise-related, I suggest taking it to the vet ASAP as it could be a neurological illness that needs immediate treatment. It could also possibly be caused by a spinal injury.
