I've only read rumors, but I heard that they were the children of lead guitarist Richard Kruspe. According to him, his son and daughter are 17 and 18...So considering the year Engel was shot, it seems reasonable the children in the video may have actually been his. I don't know if this is true or not. But they were certainly interesting characters to an interesting video.
It means Rammstein. The R represents the R in the name and the cross represents the T is the name.
After playing Nearly all their songs on my Guitar i can Safely say that Weisses Fleisch and Fruhling In Paris are by far the Hardest. The harmonics and solo in Weisses Fleisch are quite Challenging for me. and the Finger Picking and Chord Changes In Fruhling In Paris do my head in. :)
According to the band currently supporting them on tour and their blog, they had a show of 40,000, which is more people than any show in the past, as far as I know. They are primarily an arena band these days, so its always a large crowd. They could have had a bigger show before though
The video "Amerika" was released in September 2004 by the German industrial metal band Rammstein. It is the second single from their second album, titled "Reise".
Till Lindemann--6'1.5"
Richard Kruspe--5'9"-5'10"
Paul H. Landers--5'6"
Oliver "Ollie" Riedel--6'3"-6'4"
Christoph "Doom" Schneider--6'2"
Christian "Flake" Lorenz--6'0"-6'2"
Most heights listed on fansites are very incorrect; these heights are sketchy as well but make much, much more sense than any other guesses listed previously on other sites, based on photos of the band next to other well known people, etc.
According to the making of in the Lichtspielhaus DVD, her name is Cecil Duetsch.
While it is not fastpaced, you're probably thinking about the song simply entitled "Rammstein". The word "Rammstein" is in every line of the lyrics. There is also another song called: Wollt Ihr Das Bett In Flammen Sehen, which alot of the lyrics is "Rammstein" and it is fast paced.
There is a city in Germany called Ramstein. A tragic disaster took place there in 1988 during an airshow; a plane crashed into a crowd and 70 people were killed. The industrial-metal band took their name from this event. If spelt the way the band is, it translates as "ramming stone".
Richard Z. Kruspe - lead guitar
Paul Landers - rhythm guitar
Oliver Riedel - bass guitar
Christoph Schneider - drums and percussion
Christian Flake Lorenz - keyboards/synths/etc.
Till Lindemann - lead singer
Till Lindemann is best known for his role as the lead vocalist in the German band Rammstein. He has been the lead vocalist of Rammstein since its inception in 1994.
No, they are not, never have been, and never will be. Rammstein wrote the song Links 2, 3, 4 (Left 2, 3, 4) to fire back at these accusations and proclaim their allegiance with the left (hence the lyrics My heart beats on the left). In other words; Rammstein for the most part are not a political band, and they certainly are not Nazi's, right-sided or racist. They strongly dislike discrimination against anyone, and the manager they have had their whole career isn't even white, either.
Rammstein does not have a song called Hitler and never have. That song is a sick "parody" of the song Sonne that emerged several years ago online.
Rammstein are not Nazi's, racist or anything of the sort.
Till Lindemann had his first daughter Nele Lindemann when he was 22 years old and he is also a stepfather to Khira Li Lindemann, the daughter of his ex-wife by bandmember Richard Z. Kruspe.
A good business manager, good music, controversy and their notorious live show. They got their start playing clubs such as the Knaack in Berlin in the mid 90s and their reputation gradually grew, they opened for other bands and they received a record label and eventually got to where they are today.
No, but they made song about Paris "Frühling in Paris" (Spring in Paris).
"Ich Will" is translated here as "I want". He mostly describes a list of things that he wants to happen.
There are 6 members of the group. Till Lindemann: Vocals, Richard Kruspe: Lead Guitar, Paul Landers: Rythm Guitar, Ollie Riedel: Bass Guitar, Christoph Schneider: Drums, and Christian Lorenz: Keyboards.
Sorry but theirs no other band that sounds like rammstein
German guitarist Paul Landers is 53 years old (birthdate: December 9, 1964).
There is one upcoming show planned for Canada, in Quebec, at the Quebec City Summer Festival. Check Rammstein's website and their tour section, or go to this http://www.infofestival.com/ thing for tickets, if they arent already sold out.
Many songs are available for online download through various channels. One of the most prolific is iTunes, which offers many songs for sale, including Rammstein's Amerika.
