Does Thor still make Mandalay Motorhomes?

My wife and I were looking for a Mandalay MH. and checked out an Monticito MH at Serpilla MH in Akron OH. As I was looking in the overhead cabinets there it was a Mandalay Luxury MH manual with all the same specks as the Monticito. We like the 40/J.

Here's the background and history:

Mandalay Luxury Motorhomes was manufactured by Four Winds International up to 2010.

Four Winds International Manufactured the 2010 & 2011 Monticito - It was basically a Mandalay motorhome but manufactured by Four Winds.

Four Winds International stopped production of the Monticito in late 2010.

In Oct. 2010 Thor Industries subsidiaries Four Winds International and Damon Motor Coach strategically merged to create Thor Motor Coach.

Thor Motor Coach has went on to become the largest motorhome manufacturer in North America still manufacturing all the Damon & Four Winds brands with the basically the same management team and even in the same buildings. They still build high-end luxury diesel motorhomes. The Tuscany and Astoria motorhomes brands fall at the same price points as the Manadalay luxury motorhomes.

If you need more info I would check out Thor Motor Coach's website - See Related Link

Yes, you can tow it that way. No. It does not disengage the drive train. It is also likely to wreck your car if your steering wheel is not locked so that it points straight ahead. It could also tear up your transmission. It is also illegal in some places. An exception occurs in some of those places occurs when the car is broken down and you are taking it to a repair shop, otherwise you get a ticket. Still, you can try if you want to.

If you have ever noticed cars going to races or car shows are not towed that way. Race cars are not towed that way. They are usually towed on a separate trailer.

Open the drivers side hood, one of the fuse panels are right there under the hood opening. It uses small round glass fuses. Another panel is under the dash on the drivers side just to the left of the steering column. You also have a fuse panel on your converter near the rear of the coach, the location varies depending on the floor plan.

Is there any common problem with 1991 diesel 8.3 ltr Cummings 300 hp what did they get 4 milelage?

Cummins motors are traditionally a nuisance to work on, but the 8.3 litre is a pretty solid motor. IIRC, the 1991 model year motors were all mechanical, rather than electronic. Your fuel mileage won't be particularly impressive... you can expect three to five miles per gallon.
