Programming the remote to the TV and receiver can be done by following the steps outlined below! If you need to lookup codes for the TV, you can visit the link in the 'Related Links' section.

For the TV: First, press and hold the clear TV button until all mode lights light up, then release and TV light will be blinking. Enter the code for that TV model and press #. The TV button should flash 3 times. After that, try functions (Volume, Power, etc..) and see if it is working. If there is no function, then repeat steps 1-4 with another code.

For the receiver: Go to System Info screen. Hold down the SAT button until all mode lights light up. Enter a number between 1 and 15 using the number pad on the remote, then press the pound (#) button. Once the SAT button blinks three times, press record, and test the remote and see if it works.

Press and hold that component key (TV, VCR/DVD, or SAT/CBL) on your remote 3.Press ON/OFF button until your unit turns off. 4. Press Stop button to program the "code" that you remote found to work your component.

This unit is basically the same as the D770 universal remote. You can download instructions from RCA at RCA.COM.

The Only difference is there is no light below the ON/OFF button, the individual buttons will light, and when you hold down the device key and the on/off together all lights will come on.

I faced this probelm and unlocked my TV. Key in your TV code to the remote. Press the + channel key repeatedly. This worked for me.

Instructions on how to set up / programme a universal remote:
1) See the code form and find the 3-digit figures for your device.
2) Press "SET" button and hold continuosly, then press the device select button (e.g. TV1, TV2, VCR, SAT, etc. If you are setting up for your TV, choose TV1) you want to control.
3) When the indicator light is on, release the two buttons simultaneusly.
4) Enter the 3-digit figure you have found.
5) When the indicator light goes out, programming is finished.
6) Check whether operation of other buttons is at normal state. If so, your setting is successfully accomplished.

I have a Colortrack 2000. When you unplug it, the volume resets to default, which is rather loud. The buttons on my TV and remote are kinda finnicky. Most of the buttons on the TV itself work, except one. It used to be all but three of them worked, but two of the buttons randomly started working. (Weird.) I tried to open up my remote to clean it out, but I can't seem to be able to do anything constructive. Sorry, you're kinda out of luck as far as I know...

Viore's technical support line did not have a specific code for U-verse and suggested I try the codes listed for Samsung, saying that one of them usually work. Voilà! Code 1443 was most similar to the code listed for a Viore, so I tried it first and it worked like a charm. Hope this helps others. I had called AT&T and they weren't able to help.

Use the auto search capabilities of the Cox remote. (I believe you hold down mute and select until a device button blinks. Click the device you want to program (TV), then hold down select while pointing the remote at the TV, this can take well over a minute or longer. The device button will blink every few seconds or so. When the TV turns off, you're solid. Click the device button to confirm).

You have to pick one and try it's listed code as DVD or VCR.

If the codes in the manual fail, try using 002 as a code. It works for the Magnavox MWD2206 (DVD/VCR combo).
