I am a Big Fan of John Denver, always have been and always will be. I would like to correct something though about Johns Indian name. I don't know who came up with the name "Chemigwetch" meaning "He who see's Eagles" But whom ever did needs to re study the Algonquin Language. "Chemigwetch" is actually saying a " A Great Thank You" the correct way to spell it is "Chi Miigwech" Chi meaning Great, Miigwech Thank You.

I was told by a person that John Was given the name "Chemigwetch" - which in Chippewa translates to "He who sees eagles". He was given this name in a formal ceremony - I THINK in about 1979. It is on my YouTube triubute to his music and life called "FINALLY - The John Denver Accident - The Truth" which I made based 100% on the NTSB Final report (LAX98A008) and the Monterey County Sheriff 's Coroners Postmortem Report (#97-227) of which I have a hard copy of both. This was made to end rumors that he was drunk/on drugs when he crashed - his final autopsy found NO TRACE of drugs or alcohol in his body.

I don't believe he believed in Jesus. At least not in the biblical "salvation" sense. Jesus often said, "If you believe in me, you will have everlasting life," or something to that effect. Jesus did not believe in Jesus in this sense. He was a follower of a self-improvement association called Erhard Seminars Training (EST), which was basically a mixture of Zen Buddhism and New Age philosophies. (Prob w/ more emphasis on the New Age philosophies)

Ann Wilson - no question whatsoever - powerful, wide ranging voice and actually singing to rock and roll, which is no small accomplishment, as many great female vocalists couldn't sing to rock, with wailing guitars, heavy bass, and pronounced drum beats! Ann Wilson did this the best . . . by far!

It depends on the song, but over-all Lisa does the most in their songs.

Lisa does the more consistent and lower parts, wile Jess does the high and powerful parts. For example, in their song "4ever" Lisa starts out the song and Jess joins in in the chorus. In the chorus for that song, you mostly only hear Jess unless you pay attention, at which point you can hear Lisa harmonizing.

Lisa and Jess rarely sing the same exact thing at the same time, so it's hard to say exactly who sings more. To do that you'd have to time up ow many seconds each sings in eachof their songs... Good luck with that ^^
