People couldn't take it anymore so they expressed their feelings. Most of the causes were religious and political, because Nicolae Ceauşescu razed churches and he didn't let people show their faith in God. The revolution was the beginning of democracy in Romania.

Well, I'm Romanian and I think Romanian people are pretty much like other foreign people.I have traveled enough to see that no matter where you are, you'll always find families who care a lot about each other and families that are not very united.I do care about my entire family but there's a big difference between the love for my parents and the love for my aunt/uncle/etc.That doesn't mean I wouldn't help them anytime.I spend enough time with my parents, we respect each other, we help each other and as far as I know,most of Romanian families do the same way.

The schools are usually poor, at least mine is, but some high schools are cool, depending on where they are positioned. The ones that are in the center of the capital are very good looking, and the teachers are nice with the students.
