Lunchmeat is a generic term used for a number of meats which are commonly used as sandwich filler. Ham, turkey, roast beef, etc. will have different prices based on the meat type, packaging (you usually have to go to Wal Mart for the deli, although Sam's Club could possibly have added them since the last time I've been to one), and overall quality.

It is ordered from the same large meat packing places that grocery stores and restaurants get it. Excel, Farmland, IBP, John Morrell, Nebraska Beef, National Beef,and Swift. It's then cut in house according to specs provided by Corporate. It's actually a lot fresher than pre packaged meats like WalMart and other grocery stores. It's the same as going to a butcher shop and getting meat. All the beef, pork, lamb, and fish gets a 4- day shelf life and is donated or thrown away on day 4 if it is not sold before then.

This is all personal preferance, and my preferance is Costco. Someone else's preferance might be Sam's Club. I hope this helped.
