Her grandfather would read to her and would teach her all of the things that White children were learning in school. Sarah Boone was very lucky to of had her grandfather or else she would of been taken as a slave like her parents.She needed someone to look after her.Her grandfather was important in her life.Without him she would not be educated as well as she was.
