I think you may need to do a little experimenting to find out for sure; if you add all the ingredients with one and a half cups of flour, then see how much more flour you need to add (if any) to acheive a smooth scone dough. I'm guessing it will be between 2 and 2 1/2 cups.

To make around 6 you will need:
. 8oz of self raising flour
. 2oz of butter or marg
. A sprinkle of salt
. a teaspoon of baking powder
. 2oz of sugar (a little less if you do not like them sweet)
. a handfull of raisins and other fruits of your choice
. Milk
you mix the butter in to the flour. Then you add the salt baking powder and sugar. then add a little milk to the mixture, keep adding a little bit of milk until the the mxture goes like dough. Then add in the fruit, cut out and put on a tray place in the oven at 200 degrees or gas mark 7 fro around 10 - 15 minutes.
