Well, I remember the sketch that made Cookie Monster become Veggie Monster. He met a giant cookie named "The Monster Cookie" in his dream. The Monster Cookie tells Cookie Monster a sad story on how he became that way. The Monster Cookie was also a blue furry monster also. But eating too many cookies made him transformed into one, And regrets that he never ate healthy treat. When Cookie Monster wakes up from his dream and sobbed "What a dream! Oh. Very sad!" And when he looks at a cookie, he says to a cookie "OH! No-No-No-No! No! No! Me never eat cookies ever again! NO! From now on me eat carrots! Yeah! (Eats carrots, OM-NOM-NOM-NOM!) And fish! (Eats fish, OM-NOM-NOM-NOM!) And whole wheat bread! (Eats whole wheat bread, OM-NOM-NOM-NOM!) And no cookies! Sorry, cookie. Me no can you ever....Say are you talking, Cookie? Are you crying, Cookie? Did Sesame Street change its name to Sesame Park?
Sesame Street is still going strong. In fact, this year (2009) is the 30th anniversary of the show.
Sesame Street is an American educational children's television series and a pioneer of the contemporary educational television standard, combining both education and entertainment. Sesame Street is well known for its Muppet characters created by Jim Henson. It premiered on November 10, 1969, and is the longest running children's program on American television. The show is produced in the United States by the non-profit organization Sesame Workshop, formerly known as the Children's Television Workshop (CTW), founded by Joan Ganz Cooney and Ralph Rogers.
The Children's Television Workshop, which owns and produces Sesame Street, is no more, however; it changed its name to the Sesame Workshop.
The series is filmed at Kaufman Astoria Studios in Queens, New York, New York

Answer2Sesame Street who got its start on November 10th 1969 and it was a program created to givekids of way of learning their ABCs and 123s with a bit of an Urban flair and also
address cultural issues and differences. If you go back and see the old Sesame Street
its almost representative of the cultural revolution that now is so common today.
The show was filmed primarily in Manhattan and parts of Queens and derived the
name "Sesame Street." Though many people recognize Jim Henson as a household
name still many do not know that Jim Henson was the backbone of Sesame Street
because he created alot of the puppets in the show. One creation of his commonly
known is Kermit the Frog who played the Weatherman many times getting blown
away by a strong storm wind. The other muppets made appearances quite regularly
but Jim Henson created the Muppet Show, another hit, not long after. My
favorite character being GROVER who plays the waiter that is totally oblivious to
the needs of his customers and is always making mistakes. He also plays
Super Grover who likes making crash landings. Sesame Street still comes on TV but it
is a mix of clips from the much older shows and the newer ones, new characters
being "Gabby" "Panwapa" "Zoey" The oldest shows are on DVD called "Old School
Sesame Street" for about $24 dollars.

How tall is big bird from sesame street?
Birds are very light because of their thin bones made convenient for flying. I forget if Big Bird can fly, but if he can, I would estimate about 83 pounds, considering the size of his build. If he can't fly, I estimate about 143 pounds.
