You had to have had chickenpox once to later develop shingles (a flareup of latent chickenpox virus still in the body). That initial case of chickenpox usually confers lifetime immunity to chickenpox, so you cannot be reinfected. But the immune system often is unable to totally eradicate the chickenpox virus from the body, only keep it at a very low "latent" level that is not contagious and causes no symptoms. Then as one gets older, sporadically the immune system loses control and the latent chickenpox virus growth flares, however instead of producing chickenpox symptoms it produces shingles symptoms. Eventually the immune system again gets control of the chickenpox virus in the body, which returns to latent levels again and the shingles goes away.

Rispardone can have side affects. It's used to help certain mental dissorders like schitzophrenia an bi/polar dissorder. If it lowers your immune system then it could trigger herpes or shingles break outs. I just had breast surgery 10 weeks ago and then gallbladder surgery, i guess the stress of both surgeries sent my body into overdrive with stress. One the 3rd day of my re-coop from gallbladder surgery my throat would not stop hurting, i could not swallow and the pain was very intense.. i went back to the surgeon and wanted to know what was going on in my throat was it due to the tube that they put down my throat.. He examined me and said NO.. it was shingles, i had taken the shingle shot last year because my mom and sister get the shingles read bad and real often. They sent me home with morphine, magic mouthwash( numbing) and with valacyclovir (valtrex) the mouthwash helps but i am sick to my stomach i guess because of the valtrex..I hope this helps. even if you had the shot stress will be the killer of us all.

You could get chicken pox if you have never had it before. However, while your chances of getting chicken pox from someone with shingles is in the realm of possibility, you will rarely come across someone with shingles, since they are mostly home with the illness.

Well...I have a numbing on my chin, sometimes tingly, it was never painfull just annoying, like an anastetic wearing off from the dentist so I went to the doc and she said Shingles, but she couldn't be sure. The medicine is very expensive so she told me to sit it out and take vit C. I was so unhappy as I work with a pregnant girl and was really afraid of'infecting' her. So I went to the health shop for an alergy test as I didn't have the trade mark 'whip' of red on my skin ( Shingles comes from the German word for whip) the health shop said I was DANGEROUSLY low in Vit B & C. So she gave them to me and within 10 days I felt great, no tingling and the tiredness gone! So don't take what the doc's say for sure althe time!!!

The pox virus is related to the herpes viruses and they are lytic but can become latent. Latency is not the same as lysogenic.

Is the 22x26 one side of the roof or the length and width of the building? A square of shingles is 100 square feet. Measure one side if they are the same and double that amount. Height times width will give the square footage.
