What is the hoban rifle no45 22 cal worth?
Hoban .22 rifle is worth $50 to 150 depending on condition. The Hoban is a single shot bolt action rifle with a hard wood stock and open sights. It is a very accurate rifle and made a good safe first rifle for a youth under adult supervision. A good rabbit or squirellrifle. In the 1940s (perhaps much earlier as well) the rifle was offered for points earned by selling Cloverine Salve as advertised on the back of many comic books. My father bought one about 1946 to teach my brothers and me safe handling. Probably made in southern Michigan. It is still in our family - now in Texas.
In that tradition today (2010) the Crickett and the Chipmunk are similar but improved starter rifles. Fun to shoot.
