Most likely the Husky, but Danes were used as guard dogs, not sled dogs, so they would also have that kind of fighting advantage. However, they have thinner skin and not as much hair as a husky would, making it more likely to get wounded than a Husky would.

With huskies it is best to not feed them: Large ammounts of dairy (milk, cheese, etc.), cooked bones, onions, Raisins, grapes, prunes, etc.

A good lineage of Siberian husky. I am running one Seppala and one zero will do and average speed over 3 miles of 20mph and a top speed of approx 28mph. but these guys are no older than 1.5yrs. so i expext a little more but not much.

They are very companionable and fun to be have around also they can be quite instinctly protective of their owner if a stranger is near or coming towards the owner, probably not all huskies since it depends on how you make him/her but my male purebred bi-eyed Siberian husky is protective and a guard dog, probably because his best friend is a large,giant-headed male purebred rottweiler.

Siberian huskies, an Artic dog from Eastern Siberia, are a working breed that have been used as sled dogs for thousands of years. They are very strong built, especially males, with broad shoulders and short, powerful legs. Males can weigh 45-60 lbs and are 21-23.5 inches tall, where as females generally weigh 35-50 lbs and are 20-22 inches tall.

Here are some facts I know: huskies are medium sized dogs, I think they Wait is somewhere between 40-60 pounds, they have very thick fur coats and they are very heavy shedders, they say there coat can help them stand up to 75- degrees, they are very friendly and do not make good watch dogs, they are very full of energy and need Lot's of exercise, there eyes are usually blue, brown, or one of each, they might look like wolves, but they are not wolves or wolf hybrids, they do not bark very often but they do howl and make whinny noises, they like to dig a lot, they can be hard to train, but this is not because they are not smart, they are very smart dogs, but they are very stubborn, and they like to play rough. It depends on the size and hunting skills of the husky. A deer, especially if it is a buck deer on the rut, could seriously injure any kind of dog that gets near them. With their hooves and sharp antlers, they could kill a dog if the dog was not skilled in hunting down them (even if it is a husky).

I prefer the Siberian Husky because they are friendly to other dogs and they enjoy long walks and company. :)

Yes they ALL stop growing. I personally own a Siberian who is about 1 1/2 years old. I have not noticed any significant growth for what seems like months. However, he is probably slowly "filling" out and I just don't notice. I weighed him last week at a whopping 67lbs which is big for a husky. From what I've read they keep growing taller until 12-16 months with their major growth spurts occurring before that. They then continue to "fill out" until around 2 years old. If your husky is getting "too big" that is ok as long as he/she is of healthy. Although mine is heavy I longboard him everyday and he attends doggy daycare 3-5 times a week so he is in amazing shape (just really tall). Some people will tell you that your Siberian is too big if it's a certain height/weight. Don't listen to them they are talking about the breed standard which only matters if you want to show your dog (does not matter at all with health). If it seems like your dog won't stop growing he is probably really young. If it is growing way larger than you expected you might acually have an Alaskan malamute or a mixed breed dog.

Huskies, as a dog, are rarely found wild. Wolves, their closest relative, drink milk first, then move onto regurgitated meat.

As soon as they are old enough to walk you should use a harness for their lead to attach to for walks otherwise they can become very disobedient when out and about. Be patient though and take it steady with them. It is their instinct to pull and so they'll need to reassurance not to pull unless instructed to do so.

ALL dogs can learn to live with cats and ALL dogs can chase, or even kill, cats but Siberian huskies are usually pretty good with other pets if-BIG if- they are raised with them from a young age. No they don't. Some are blue, some are part blue and part brown known as partie eyes, some have one brown one blue and some have both brown. I have a registered purebred Siberian and both her parent's had partie eye and our dog has two blue eyes. The blue eyes tend to be very blue when they're pups and fade in color as they get older.
