glorious isolation this was the term for British foreign policy in the early 1900's it suggests that our glory and power is above that of foreign nations and outsiders so we need not have anything to do with them because we need nothing from them .

The motto of Loyola University Maryland is 'Strong Truths Well Lived'.

Modern University for the Humanities's motto is 'Accessible Quality Education'.

It depends on if your an Irish Kennedy or a Scottish Kennedy. Scottish Kennedy is "Avise le fin" which is French for "Consider the End". As for Irish Kenndy, I've seen both "Lám láidir in uactar" Gaelic for "The Uppermost Hand" and "Adhaero Virtuti" which is Latin for "Cling to Virtue". I'm actually an Irish Kennedy and doing research now to see which of the two is more correct.
