Due to the new broadcasting laws between the US and UK. The UK can now broadcast American shows 2 days after it has been viewed in the US. The reason for this is stop illegal downloading. The UK used to be able to only watch US shows about 6 months after. My guess is that the stars are just tired of it. Tom Welling has a wife and a kid, so he probably wants to focus on his family. They are all old now, Tom Welling is 33, Allison Mack is only 20, but I'm sure she wants to get on with her life. She probably wants to go back to Germany (Allison was born in Germany) and begin her life there. If not, she just probably is sick of this show. Kristen Kreuk is 28 years old.

if you are talking about the show "Smallville" the she found out in the 100th episode, which is in season 5, but Clark went back and made her forget, then as already mentioned she tricked Clark and Chloe and found out in season 6, I don't know what episode, but it was the one where she married Lex.

Basically she left in the last episode of Season 7 - she comes back for about 5 episodes in Season 8 - she returns for Chloe and Jimmy's wedding episode. She leaves in the episode when Lex returns but he is caught in an explosion.
