Clyde or Kenny, it can't be Kenny actually because Kenny doesn't talk and is too poor to afford the costume. So it is either Clyde or Craig.

It is obviously Clyde: 1. He has been shown in his underwear in the episode 'The List' 2. In 'Lice Capades' he stood up for Kenny because he didn't want him to get sock bathed, which shows he is trying to help the citizens of South Park 3. Clyde has been named the 2nd fattest kid in Mr. Garrison's class and when he is standing in the street with The Coon he looks pretty hefty. 4. In class while Eric is talking about The Coon, Clyde was asleep was it because he was up all night protecting the city? Cartmen only tells him to wake up so everyone else was awake. 5. It had to be one of the kids Cartmen named at the beginning because at the end he says, "I knew it was you! I even said it earlier!" 6. Mysterion's behavior is very much alike with Clyde's as well 7. Once Clyde realizes that people like him he starts to act high-and-mighty in the episode 'The List' and that is what Mysterion does. 8. Mysterion also does not cuss at all, and I have never heard Clyde cuss all that much during his appearances on the show, those are the reasons I chose.

I think that it is either Kenny or Craig that it COULD be Kenny because like that person said he is to poor to BUY a costume that's why he grabbed a robe and a hoody that were dark and put them on and then besides that he then has a pair of under wear.

It's not Kenny because Kenny has blond hair and when mysterion unmaskes himself he had a little bit of his hair showing and it was black. ---newpersons: Its obviously Kenny if you saw the coon and friends episode. Stan is toolshed Craig is Mosquito, Kyle is the human kite, Timmy is obviously the machine thing, who knows who that Berry Crunch guy is. During the show they show Kenny sneaking out of his house to go to the meeting of the superheroes, but you never find a kid that looks like him so it must be Kenny. Also he doesn't use his real voice and his face is covered. Even in the first coon episode well the unmask him no one actually knew who he was.

Heh. You know, it's funny. Cartman is the hero and Butters is the villain. Cartman was willing to blow up the town's hospital and Butters was horrified by the idea. Despite Butters going full-blown megalomanic, he still just doesn't have the evil within him. Cartman votes superhero in this episode, he's still makes a much better villain. In fact, he's one of the greatest villains of all time. What's he doing on the other side of right and wrong? I guess that's the joke here... I'm laughing right now as I think about it.

I would like to throw my answer into the hat. Yes, Clyde is all of those things, but Stan is Mysterion.

-Stan is the only kid in South Park that can get fireworks (from his uncle Jimbo)

-Stan is known for being brave and the leader in his class

- He knows the difference between right and wrong better than anybody else on the show + he always fights evil

- Stan was the third person named by Cartman in the beginning after Kyle and Craig.

-It can't be Kyle because he and Mysterion were in the same room together

-Stan is the most athletic kid in Mr. Garrison's class

-Stan knows Kyle hates Cartman

-Stan is all about safety and peace

-Stan favors Kyle (he's the smartest kid in class)

-Butters says, "based on his body type, its gotta be someone like Stan or Kyle"

-I don't think it's Clyde because hes too self-absorbed to protect or care for anyone else

-And i know this answer might be simple as hell and might even sound like BS, but Eric's last name (Cartman) starts with a C, and Stan's last name (marsh) starts with an M

Its actually Clyde if you saw coon 2 ep. 405, Stan is in the tool shed in coon 2 so that eliminates Stan for being mysterion.

Kenny is Kite man and Clyde is Mysterion. The main reason that mysterion is not Kenny is Kenny would never originally become a super hero. As we all know he does enjoy doing drugs (or at least cheesing and huffing flowers (by the way i tried it doesnt work)) and his moral compass doesnt always point in the right direction. Also, as it was said before they made it a point to show that Clyde was sleeping in class twice. They wouldn't have showed us that if it didnt mean anything. Also i feel Kenny being poor he probably couldn't afford a nice costume. And they do like to try and cover his hair or his face and kite man does have his hair covered

Kenny is definitely not mysterion. Kenny is Mint berry crunch. After Carman (coon) attacks the mosquito and mint berry cruch (Kenny) they all sit at a table and discuss about their plans and every one is drinking some drink except for mint berry crunch (Kenny) who's drinking water. If you see other episodes, Kenny is always drinking water while other kids drink milk or juice, since he's poor. Mint berry crunch is Kenny. Mysterion must be Clyde!

I also would like to make the point that Trey Parker and Matt Stone are a-holes and don't care to much about logic and would have no problem doing something along the lines of making up a new character or just doing something to piss everyone off which i feel like they probably what they did because of the amount of attention this has gotten. Does anyone agree with me? Like i don't think they are going to do the most obvious answer which is Clyde of course. but who knows gotta wait til Wednesday
