I just bought one for $200 from Gunbroker in good condition

Your Savage was manufactured from 1948 on and was primarily used as a survival gun for U.S. Air Force. It's a terrific gun for pheasants where it's legal to shoot a shotgun and if the bird is wounded or running out of shotgun range, you can flip the lever to the UP position and fire a .22 long rifle round at the bird. Great squirrel and rabbit gun as well. They also made the Model 24 in a .20 ga. 3" and .22 Mag. version. SWEET! It's value is anywhere from $400.00 to $700.00 estimated (depending on condition). I just picked up one of those the other day at a local gun shop. It had been butchered somewhat, and the bluing had a light brown patina, but the stock was is solid shape. Asking price was $69. Figure if it's in great condition, all-original, you should get at least $150-200 out of it. But there are some MANY old .22 rifles out there right now, the demand can't equal the supply. Unless it's a very rare model, the price were usually be pretty low. And most of those old .22s don't even have serial numbers, so tracing the exact date of manufacture is very difficult. Just hang on to it, and keep shooting it. Your grandkids could someday use it.

This was a trade name made for Belknap Hardware, and from the list of makers (Crescent, H&R, Stevens) it's unlikely to be a high quality gun, but I could be wrong. The plating and engraving were probably not factory original. If this is a double barrel, the usual quote is $150-$250, and for a single shot, $35-$75.

Model 1863 Rifle Musket, Type I, manufactured at the US Springfield Armory. !863 is both the model designation and the year of manufacture. A total of 273,265 were made. If it has not been altered, it is a .58 caliber, single shot muzzleloader with a 40" round barrel and three barrel bands.

I'm not sure the actual value of one, but I purchased one last weekend for $215. The seller wanted $250 for it, but we finally agreed to $215. I think this one is a 1907.

This bolt action .22 repeater should bring $75 to $125.

The 5100 was made from 1931 to 1941. I didn't know a single trigger was available in the Springfield line. I own an old Springfield double barrel 20 gauge, serial number E67029. Is Springfield the actual model name, I see no reference anywhere to a model 5100. How do I verify what I have. Well, Apollo50, tell us what IS marked on it and maybe we can tell you something.

Stevens guns were marked J. Stevens Arms Co from 1920 to 1942. Utility grade slide action shotgun, blued finish and walnut stocks. NRA Poor = $50, Excellent = $150. Manufactured 1926 to 1945.

If made before midnight, December 31, 1968, it will not have a serial number. If made later, it will be clearly marked on the receiver.

The Stevens 311 was marked as model 5000 from about 1920 to 1931, then 5100 until 1941. Most references just list the 311 as if it had the same model number for the entire production period.

I can't answer your question, but I have one just like it and am in need of the metal piece that is fastened to the forearm which slides back into the hammer area. I have no idea what it looks like. As for a worth, in NRA Good Condition, about $200. In some listings, if in working condition as high as $395 and non-working (example: broken firing pin) as high as $175. I have one I just got fixed. I bought it for $35. and fixed the firing pin. Works fine, now! It never needed adjusting of the sights. Your Stevens model 67 shotgun was of recent manufacture,having last been made in 1989.The value is going for between 125-200 dollars.It was made in 12,20,410 gauge,all with 3in.chambers.The recievers were made of steel,and they had a 5 shot capacity.there weight was between 6 1/4-7 1/2 pounds.

I don't know what the current value is, but I bought mine NEW when I was about 10 years old (appx 30 years ago) and I paid $55.00 for it. If you find out the current value, let me know!!

A new utility single shot costs $89.95. A used one will be 1/2 to 2/3 as much, depending on condition.
