How old is a Springfield J Stevens Model 84-c 22 bolt action rifle?
I have my Grandfathers springfield model 84c- and he is 89 years old. He told me he got it when he was 12 years old so that makes it 77 years old. Hope I could help. I am currently looking for a clip for it so if anyone has any info that would be great.
They were made between 1940-1948 from what I found. I know my father found clips for it in new york somewhere.
Where is the serial on a Stevens 5100?
I have a 16 ga. with 28 inch Modified & Full barrels and double triggers. Don't believe these guns were serially numbered. At least I haven't found one on the guns I've looked at includind a .410. This model was made c. 1931-1948. Serial numbers were not required on long guns before 1968 so many manufacturers did not use them.

What is a Sears mod.2t 22lrsingle shot bolt action rifle worth?
It was made by marlin for sears in the late 50s. believe it or not there are people that collect sears guns so it does have some value in poor condition about 300$-400$. Perfect condition around 450$-600$.The reason why the prices are so high is because these firearms are getting more rare to find.
A few different models of the Visible Loader were offered between 1907 and 1932. Mainly differing only in the sights. Truly excellent condition rifles can reach $350-$400. sales@countrygunsmith.net

Springfield was a trade name used by the J. Stevens Arms division of Savage Arms from about 1920 to 1948. Savage-made firearms marketed under the Springfield brand name were prevalent at least into the 1960's. The Chicopee Falls marking on this shotgun indicates manufacture between 1946 and 1959. I have most, if not all, the Savage catalogs and factory parts manuals from 1920 forward and am having difficulty finding a '929' model... can you verify that model number? sales@countrygunsmith.net
