Armory Kote is a propitiatory black coating that Springfield Arms applies to their high-end production and Custom Shop 1911 pistols. It is reportedly quite durable and corrosion resistant, and has been described in online forums to be more durable than the comparable Black-T coating. It is presumably slightly more scratch-prone than the ceramic Ceracote surface treatment, however, it will not flake off and "spiderweb" if the surface is damaged because of it's more ductile nature. Two of the models that feature the coating are the Tactical Response Pistol (TRP) and the Professional Model.

There is no difference. A 30-06 Springfield is the only ammo under that designation. Now different companies sell the 30-06 cartridge, but it is all 30-06 Springfield ammo.

J Stevens Arms Company has been making rifles since the 1890s. There are dozens of different models of Stevens bolt action .22s. If you repost with all markings on your rifle, we make be able to narrow it down a bit. sorry-

that would depend on overall condition and when it was made. by furnishing the serial number it can be determined when pistol was made...............

it was made by colt in 1918. if your slide reads 'springfield' that someone in the past changed slides which was not uncommon when cleaning pistols...........

Not much over 100.00 120.00 in perfect. The Stevens 56 is almost the same and I am looking for some partsfor a 56. The 84 and 56 are interchangable parts or so the parts manual says.
