A gap between the teeth is quite common and normal in children, in fact it is desirable as it will give the adult teeth more room. A child with a gap in adult front teeth is also normal and usually closes by mid teens. Therefore, it is not necessary to worry about gaps until adulthood.

I have got braces and was told that I can have one can of fizzy drink a day so that is the same with sweets. You will only have marks on your teeth if you do not clean them properly and twice a day. I eat what I normally do which does consist of sweets but the orthodontist says I am cleaning them very well and haven't been eating sweets!
So yes they will leave marks if you do not clean your teeth properly

If it is at the back of the first molars, the 2nd molar teeth are erupting nothing to be cautious about. If it is on the teeth itself, usually the front ones it's called mammalians and usually it will erode during wear and tear for years to come. These bumps were just to help your adult teeth to come through. they will wear away eventually

Take it from someone who has them.

It could hurt for some people, they stick a separator in between two pushing teeth to make a space for your braces. If your mouth is over crowded, and has absolutely NO gaps, (like mine) then it could hurt because there is not enough room for a gap. If your teeth have gaps but your molars are pushing, I guess it wouldn't hurt MORE, because they can adjust easily, but it will hurt since your teeth aren't used to the position that the spacer will cause.

It depends. Is the gum erosion on the buccal (cheek) side of the tooth, and is the dentin (root) exposed? That could be caused from using too hard of a toothbrush You should always use a SOFT toothbrush, and use gentle circular motions at the sulcus (2mm part of the gum that is around the neck of the tooth)

if you are drinking water yes, but anything else like soda or coffee you need to take it out.

Take Advil or Tylenol regularly (every 4-6 hours) for 2-3 days following an orthodontic adjustment. Eat a softer diet and give your teeth time! Just remember...if your teeth are sore it typically means they're moving...which is why you're in braces! :) Good luck and hang in there.

I had some gauze packed in the side of my mouth when I woke up from the surgery (had all four removed) and disolvable stiches over the gaps where the teeth were. I didn't bled all that much from my teeth (although had a nose bleed from where the breathing tube was removed too quickly from my nose and ripped the skin inside! I took the gauze out after a day though.

that is not the question you should be asking. the real question is who cares. if a girl wont date you for trying to improve your appearence then she isnt girlfriend material bro even if it does, in the long run your perfectly straight teeth will only improve your odds. good luck and wiki on!
