I've been able to get away with this at 15 hours, I haven't tried it any sooner than that though. I did it at this time starting at 0.25-0.5mg (super, super, small fraction of a strip), then another 0.5 another 40 minutes after that, and so forth to my desired level. Other times I have waited 24-26 hours and was always all good, starting immediately at the desired dosage.

But as you will read in any other forum on the internet, it's unique to your own physiology. Somebody's own experience has no correlation to what could happen to another person, many factors. Relapse is incredibly uncomfortable, and the pain of waiting and tapering certainly factor into creating a negative experience to look back upon if ever considered falling off the wagon in the future. People that haven't been through this could not possibly rationalize that feeling. Good luck.

It can range from a month to a few years. But the most common time limit is around 6 months. When i was in rehab they put me on an 8 day taper and it was the worst thing in the world after they cut me off the 8th day. It deffinetly needs to be graduately tapered.

maybe you got crappy dope. but 16 mg of sub. a day is pretty serious, and if you eat it it stays in your system for a while, up to 72 hours (3 days.) i think. my advice is to try to stay on suboxone... its a lot better than heroin... but if you wait a day or two more you can probably get high off dope no prob... but im not suggesting that at all... your life your choice good luck

You have to wait at least 18 to 24 hours, so it sounds like you're almost there. You have to wait until you're in serious withdrawal from the Vicodin, because if you take the Suboxone on top of the other opiate, you will have the worst, most horrible withdrawal symptoms you can imagine. You will get really, really sick.

Just like opiates, suboxone binds to your mu opiod receptors.

I was previously prescribed suboxone and therefor recognize it has a drug called naloxone in it which is a narcotic antagonist or drug that mixed with opiates such as hydrocodone which is in the norco pill and can cause immediate withdrawal effect.

Yes- atleast I have done it. It was more like 12-18 hours in between. I took 2-3 roxys in about 1 and 1/2 days bc of a severe abscess tooth causing me unbearable pain. After my last roxys i sort of just took it easy.. Slept it off and then took my sub as usual. But im thinking it wasnt too bad based on the short term use of the opiate idk. I'm scared to advise anyone to do anything really bc I realize everybody is different and since I've rode that precipitated withdrawal train- I'm scared as hell to get anyone a ride on that track again man..

No, each requires its own specific test. Methadone will only show up as methadone and suboxone will only show up as suboxone.

It does not "remove them from the body" - It attaches itself to the Opoid receptors in the brain much better than pure opoid agonists (like hydrocodone, oxycodone, fentanyl, etc.) therefore stopping/blockading their effect on the body. It is an opoid antagonist.

Honestly there's hardly any IF AT ALL of a difference...that's if ur meaning as far as detoxing. If u meant the shape or size of the pill then a "big looking stop sign" is 8mg, so it's sectioned off into 4 pieces if u need it to be. Half of the 8mg,which is obviously 4mg, will look like half of a stop sign & break it again & it'll be 2mg. Now they have the little suboxones, which are 2mg each. Hope that helps!

wait at least 12 hours. usually after taking opioid such as heroin, fentanyl, morphine, hydrocodone you have to wait at least 24 hours. but ive found with oxycodone you only need to wait 12. no less than 12 though.

Mine would:however, xanax only stays in your urine a relatively short time. Don't take any more, drink lots of liquids, etc.

Does your DR. Drug test you? Mine doesn't. If he doesn't drug test you then don't tell him! But be careful because Benzo's of any kind are dangerous to take with suboxone.

If your doctor prescribes a narcotic while you're taking Suboxone, his medical license should probably be revoked.

when i was given a urine test at the recovery house i was in.they said i tested positive for opietes and adphinemines. but when i gave urine at my probation place two days later my urine at the probation place was clean. the two priscribe medicatin i take is suboxone and trizendone.my question is how can i be positive at one place and not the other, cause they are trying to say that i used when i did not. so i tryed to tell them that it might be possible tha the test only found the opioid in the suboxone, cause i read that suboxone hav a little opiod in it. is this true

Well, My son is on Saboxone for 2 months now........I drug test him frequently. This time I bought a 12 panel test and he did come up positive for oxycodone. So, I'm wondering the same question......Sorry, I dont have the answer as I am searching for it myself.
