I stopped my drug vacation (such a pleasant term for being in the thrawls of addiction lol) at a point where I was putting up the nose around 240mg (3 oxy 80's) per day. I had been taking that much for about a week. (The week prior I had taken 160mgs a day by insufflation(nose) for one week before my habit increased by 80mg. And prior to that I had taken about a half of an 80 to maybe a whole one by mouth for a year and a half...the moral of this tangent was that insufflation makes it way harder an increases your tolerance infinately very quickly) Anyway after taking that much for a week I took 2mg of suboxone after 24 hours in withdrawal. I felt quite a bit better but still pretty crummy for maybe four days...two or three of which were very uncomfortable and I was constantly tossing and turning with absolutely no appetite. I would have increased my dosage of the suboxone but I bought them off a friend and not from a doctor and could not afford to buy more so I did my best to space em all out. I would have guessed that 8mg at this time however would have helped me completely.

My former "giver of drugs" (sorry this website wont let me use any other terminology for that person calling it obscinity) and a friend from rehab unfortunately had a tolerance and habit for opiates that sadly far exceeded mine. The "giver of drugs" was up to sometimes 12 Oxycontin 80's per day up the nose mostly, and the friend from outpatient was a bundle a day heroin addict. They had used subs before and didnt watch their intake because they knew they always had that safety net and wouldn't have to deal with withdrawals. Boy were they wrong. At the point they were at they both were beyond what the suboxone could do. Both of them were taking 24mg of suboxone in one hour and still couldn't stop their withdrawals. So for anyone out there that believes that the subs will always be your safety net no matter how bad your addiction gets, be careful because I have seen twice now that this in not the case.

Clonazepam is not an opiate, so you can take it even if you're already on Suboxone. A few years ago I was prescribed clonazepam, on top of my regular dose of Suboxone. Just don't take more than a normal dose of either drug: as they are both depressants, there is a risk of overdose if you take too much.

You are an idiot, i take omneprazole and suboxone together every single day and have no problems at all Omneprazole works on the acid pumps inside your stomach, and since you take suboxone sublingually, it bypasses your stomach and goes into your blood stream them through your liver. My advice to you on the heartburn issue is to slow down on the daily does of man gravey and mountain dew, if you catch my drift pillow biter

uh yeah i'm pretty sure. just because its a patch doesn't mean there isn't opiates in your blood stream. or wait, idk if the mouth swab even tests for opiates or if it just checks for alcohol and pot. well, if it tests for opiates, it will show up.

No, Suboxone is a synthetic opiod drug and does not produce the same metabolites that oxycodone does. A standard drug screen for opiates will come up positive after oxycodone use, it will not after Suboxone use. Suboxone needs to be specifically tested for.

I has been told yes and no, when it cones to suboxone and breastfeeding, I would talk to your suboxone doctor bc they know more about it than any other doctors. I do know wemen who have but they also were on very low dose ( 2 mg daily) so I don't know if that changes anything. Good luck

Buprenorphine does not show in a standard opiate test. Bupe has to be tested for specifically, and almost no one tests for bupe.

If you're trying to get high on suboxone after being on it to get you off opiates, you should probably go back to rehab.

No, regardless of claims, there is no substance known to man that can cover up illegal substances from a drug test. Some tests will detect substances, while others will not. It depends on the level of test and the quality of the testing materials.

The only way suboxone can be tested for is through its on specialized test that is very rare and expensive. You will be fine on the check swab.

That would depend on how much of each you contemplated taking. We can be no more specific than that because of medical liability issues. We suggest you discuss it with your doctor.

I am on 24mg of Suboxone and 3mg of Klonopin. These are maintenance drugs for me, so I have a tolerance, so do not go off that.

Are you being prescribed both of these drugs by the same doc? These are very sedating drugs and mixing without doctor's supervision can be very dangerous.

If you must - just be aware how you react to each drug on it's own. If you are not sure, than wait several hours before taking the ativan. You can just take half to see how you react.

Lastly, the dosages are to be considered... just please be careful if this is something you are doing without your doctors knowledge. Hope this helps.

Suboxone will not test positive for opiates on a standard drug panel. However, some agencies are now including Suboxone screens on their routine tests.

Let your doctor know that you are on Suboxone, and what your dosage level is. Then, your doctor (including the ones in the hospital, postoperatively) can give you the appropriate dose of opioid equivalent medication for pain relief. Definitely talk to your doctor about this.

There is a very high possibility of Cipro causing permanent heart damage. Cipro is the short form of a drug known as Ciprofloxacin which is an antibiotic.

No more than Suboxone alone, although there might be some placebo effect from the expectation.

I've been able to get away with this at 15 hours, I haven't tried it any sooner than that though. I did it at this time starting at 0.25-0.5mg (super, super, small fraction of a strip), then another 0.5 another 40 minutes after that, and so forth to my desired level. Other times I have waited 24-26 hours and was always all good, starting immediately at the desired dosage.

But as you will read in any other forum on the internet, it's unique to your own physiology. Somebody's own experience has no correlation to what could happen to another person, many factors. Relapse is incredibly uncomfortable, and the pain of waiting and tapering certainly factor into creating a negative experience to look back upon if ever considered falling off the wagon in the future. People that haven't been through this could not possibly rationalize that feeling. Good luck.
