CAN YOU MIX SUBOXONE WITH AN OPIATE?
Mixing Suboxone with an opiate is not recommended and can be dangerous. Suboxone contains buprenorphine, which can block the effects of other opioids and lead to withdrawal symptoms. Additionally, combining these substances can increase the risk of respiratory depression and other serious side effects. Always consult a healthcare professional before making any changes to medication regimens.
Can you take lorazepam if you took suboxone today?
Suboxone has an opiate blocker as well as buprenorphine, so taking other opiates with it will cause strong negative effects in the user. Like an alcoholic on antibuse, any ingestion of normal opiates/opioids with suboxone will be very unpleasant for the ingestor. There is no reason to take buprenorphine along with Lortab, oxycodone, hydrocodone, morphine, methadone, etc as the primary function of suboxone is relief of opiate withdrawal symptoms. Taking opiates/opioids would, in theory, relieve withdrawal symptoms adequately and possibly produce the dissociative effect the addict is seeking. The other form of buprenorphine medication, known as Subutex, does not contain the opiate blocker, and therefore would not produce the same negative effects if the user ingested opiates/opioids with it, however, buprenorphine is EXTREMELY POTENT and should be used with caution, even if the user is experienced with opiate/opioid medications and/or heroin/opium.
What is the purpose of naloxone in suboxone?
Naloxone is included in Suboxone to deter misuse and reduce the potential for addiction. Suboxone is a combination of buprenorphine, which helps manage opioid dependence, and naloxone, which blocks the effects of opioids if the medication is misused. If Suboxone is taken as prescribed, naloxone has minimal effect, but if someone attempts to inject it, naloxone can precipitate withdrawal symptoms. This combination aims to promote safe use while minimizing the risk of abuse.

Suboxone is a medication used to treat opioid addiction and dependence. It contains two active ingredients: buprenorphine, a partial opioid agonist that helps reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms, and naloxone, an opioid antagonist that discourages misuse. By stabilizing the brain's opioid receptors, Suboxone helps individuals transition away from illicit opioid use while minimizing the risk of overdose. It is typically used as part of a comprehensive treatment plan, including counseling and support.
Can you work on suboxone tablets?
Yes you can. Suboxone is a very safe and stable drug, and does not make a person "high." Now if you are taking it out of the blue and have not been taking other opiates leading up to your use of suboxone then you should be very care when operating machinery and driving. Although it will not get you high it can make you a little dizzy when taken out of the blue, that is if you have been taking no drugs at all and then decide to take suboxone. But there are airline pilots who take suboxone, it is very safe. You can get high on suboxone. It is safe and stable for most people, but avoid over-working yourself. Suboxone can make you dizzy, and very tired, along with a list of other minor side effects, and a few major ones, but these side effects are very rare. Just don't over do it and see how much you can handle. Either way I'm improving this answer to the facts, it can get you high, both "out of the blue" and if you're taking it as prescribed, I.e. you've formed a physical addiction to an opiate. *A quick side note, don't take suboxone with any other prescription or non-prescription drugs, including alcohol, without talking to a qualified physician....the side effects can be lethal.

It's not dangerous to snort Suboxone, but it is rather pointless. Suboxone tablets do not dissolve well in the stomach: that is why Suboxone is a sub-lingual medication, meaning that it dissolves under the tongue. Swallowing it before it's dissolved will have virtually no effect.
The reason people snort drugs is that snorting a drug sends it straight up to the brain, giving you an instant high. But Suboxone doesn't work that way -- it has to be dissolved with saliva and swallowed, in order for it to work. So by snorting it, all you're really doing is sending it up your nose, and then back down to your throat, where it will be dissolved by your saliva and sent straight to your stomach, like it's supposed to be taken. So you might as well skip the long trip up your nose and back down your throat, and just dissolve it under your tongue the normal way.

Answer #2
I'm sorry, but the above answer is completely incorrect. Your nose and your mouth are both mucous membranes, and so they both absorb medications the same way. The reason that people snort Suboxone and Subutex is because your nose will absorb more than under the tongue, plus you don't have saliva up there to wash it away - the longer it sits on the veins of the mucous membrane, the more that is absorbed. If I remember correctly, 35-45% of the medication is absorbed under the tongue, while 55-65% of the medication is absorbed nasally. Very little, if any, Suboxone is absorbed in the stomach. This is the same for other drugs that can snorted - cocaine for example. It works very well when snorted, but not very well when swallowed. You could in fact put cocaine under the tongue and it would work better than eating it, but not as well as snorting it. The biggest problem with snorting any drug is the amount of "cut" or other ingredients that are included. With pills like Suboxone, there is a lot of binder, sugar, filler, etc. These can wreak havoc on the nose, causing sinus infections, Meningitis, septum deterioration, and many other very bad things. The "cut" in cocaine is actually better for your nose than the "cut" in Suboxone, because the stuff in Suboxone isn't meant to be snorted. Now if you wanted to get really crazy, you could purify the Suboxone by removing the buprenorphine from the rest of the materials. It would be a simple process of finding the solubility of buprenorphine in different liquids and then comparing that to the solubility of the Narcan and the rest of the "cut" to discover a way to use those multiple liquids to remove what you don't want, step by step. There are many explanations/tutorials on making and using extractions on the internet that describe this technique/process. Then once it's purified, snorting it would be easy (as well as shooting it, but that's bad!). For now, just stick it under your tongue like you're supposed to.
Can suboxone be detected through a urine test?
yes,but It is not tested for on any 4,7,or 12 panel test..My doctors office uses to test one to see if I have teken any illegal drugs including oxycodone,opiates,meth,weed,benzos,stimulants,etc..and a second test to make sure I am taking suboxone.Even parole and probation boards do not test for suboxone..it is a single test they dip in urine..Like a pregnancy test..not like any other drug test. You should be able to take it without having to worry about failing a test.I know numerous people who take suboxone including myself because it is not tested for.It does not show up as an opiate although some say it does.It can only be detected by a test specifically designed to detect buphenorphine. I am on probation and get a 12 panel test each month. I take suboxone, klonopin, paxil, synthroid, and ambien. I always fail for benzos which I am scripted. Im sure within the next year or two it will be incorporated into the "panel" test but isn't at this point. However it would show up in blood work if you were given a "tox screen".
Is weed an suboxone ok to mix?

What do you tell a doctor to get subboxone?
The only reason I know to be on Suboxene is due to being addicted to some type of opiate and wanted to stop the cravings for them. The Subonexe along with counseling is needed. God Bless Reggie
How soon can you get a 30-day script of Suboxone filled?
Usually, you can get it filled as soon as you want. You can go straight from the doctor's office to the pharmacy, if you wish.
The exception is if it has been too soon after your last prescription was filled. For example, say you go to the doctor every month to get your 30-day prescription. But say the doctor is going on vacation for two weeks, or you are going on vacation for two weeks. You can't make your regular appointment, so you come in two weeks early. The doctor will give you another 30-day prescription, but you won't be able to get it filled right away, since it's only been two weeks since you filled your last prescription. You will have to wait at least a week and a half or so (I don't remember exactly what the rules are, sorry).
Similar rules exist with other drugs, but the rules are especially strict with medications like Suboxone or Vicodin, since they are tightly controlled substances that are prone to abuse.
If you have been on pain pills for awhile, your doctor put you on suboxone to lessen the withdrawals from the pain pills. Suboxone is not used as a pin killer. The length of time it takes for the pain killers to get out of your system depends on how long you have been taking them.
I am telling the truth this happened in July its already Jan why would i bring this up if im still trying to figure out how it happen. they also said it could have been morphine
this is from drugs.com: Buprenorphine is an opioid medication. Buprenorphine is similar to other opioids such as morphine, codeine, and heroin however, it produces less euphoric ("high") effects and therefore may be easier to stop taking.......
Naloxone blocks the effects of opioids such as morphine, codeine, and heroin. If Suboxone is injected, naloxone will block the effects of buprenorphine and lead to withdrawal symptoms in a person with an opioid addiction. When administered under the tongue as directed, naloxone will not affect the actions of buprenorphine.
I just don't understand and it still bothers me to this date. 6 months later may i add
they said i had a very low level in my system. i told them to retest it and they said they do when it usually has a positive result. I was on house arrest when this happened i am so lucky that they believed me. i think they could tell that i was telling the truth. I read on some sites that it make cause a false positive depending on who is doing the gcms test
Edit**Hey it happened to me too dude at outpatient...luckily it wasnt my freedom on the line or the law after my ass...however looking that guilty when you are doing so well is a major bummer. Sometimes its just a fluke though and the counselor said that as long as its a fairly low level they know you are not using. Only over a certain level in your urine do they get really suspicious usually.
Will you get withdrawal symptoms from taking suboxone one time?
If you're asking if you get withdrawal from the sub itself, you wont. soboxin (not sure of the correct spelling) relieves your withdrawal symptoms from narcotic drugs.
You should calm down and relax a little. Speak with somebody who you feel comfortable speaking with and trust. Let your emotions out by speaking to them. Some day you will receive justice if you truly deserve it...but don't go trying to make other peoples' life's unhappy because of your own emotions. It does not make what they did any more right or wrong.
Answer
Go and find someone you can speak with and not a girl friend or a ex boyfriend. Go to the Police Department they have people specially trained to help people who like you are very distraught. DON'T EVER TAKE REVENGE. taking revenge could end up costing more than you bargained for. Don't want to go to jail for doing something stupid I hope, be smart, no jail is worth the hassles of getting even. Been there done that, ain't good.
No, you will get very sick.
NO...I've been on suboxone for two years. It's ok, but when you cheat and try and take painkillers, etc it has no effect. This stuff trully blocks it. I was even in the hospital and had a shoot of morphine and it barley made a dent. (broke my nose)
I've been thinking of switching to methadone-becuase I just can't stop fighting the cravings. So, my answer is no, suboxone does nothing to make you feel any different.
What is the dosage of Adderall for children?

Can you withdrawal off suboxone?
Yes but only when on very high levels of opiates. I stopped my drug vacation (such a pleasant term for being in the thrawls of addiction lol) at a point where I was putting up the nose around 240mg (3 oxy 80's) per day. I had been taking that much for about a week. (The week prior I had taken 160mgs a day by insufflation(nose) for one week before my habit increased by 80mg. And prior to that I had taken about a half of an 80 to maybe a whole one by mouth for a year and a half...the moral of this tangent was that insufflation makes it way harder an increases your tolerance infinately very quickly) Anyway after taking that much for a week I took 2mg of suboxone after 24 hours in withdrawal. I felt quite a bit better but still pretty crummy for maybe four days...two or three of which were very uncomfortable and I was constantly tossing and turning with absolutely no appetite. I would have increased my dosage of the suboxone but I bought them off a friend and not from a doctor and could not afford to buy more so I did my best to space em all out. I would have guessed that 8mg at this time however would have helped me completely.
My former "giver of drugs" (sorry this website wont let me use any other terminology for that person calling it obscinity) and a friend from rehab unfortunately had a tolerance and habit for opiates that sadly far exceeded mine. The "giver of drugs" was up to sometimes 12 Oxycontin 80's per day up the nose mostly, and the friend from outpatient was a bundle a day heroin addict. They had used subs before and didnt watch their intake because they knew they always had that safety net and wouldn't have to deal with withdrawals. Boy were they wrong. At the point they were at they both were beyond what the suboxone could do. Both of them were taking 24mg of suboxone in one hour and still couldn't stop their withdrawals. So for anyone out there that believes that the subs will always be your safety net no matter how bad your addiction gets, be careful because I have seen twice now that this in not the case.
