This is a bug in the game. You must hold A to do a regular flutter jump, then at the top, release A, press Z, release z (to crouch) and hold A again. The timing is very difficult.

You battle the final boss, Bowser, of course. After you defeat him, he falls into his own lava planet, and it explodes soon then after. The Grand Star launches out of the planet, and Mario flies away with it. Bowser Jr. had thrown Peach out of the airship, so Mario catches her. Mario and Peach land safely on the beginning planet. Course 13 aka Tiny Huge Island's first star mission is Pluck The Pirahnas. To get the star you should first begin the level huge by entering the small painting of the world rather than the large one.

At the star of the level use your long jump to go to a green pipe not to far from you. Enter the pipe to become small.

Stay around this grassy area and look for large pirahnas. Use your punch, jump, ground pound, or slide attack to defeat each one that appears.

After defeating all the pirahnas the star will appear.
