• It is a myth that a lost stone from an engagement ring is bad luck. Engagement rings or any ring a person wears often should have the claws checked by a reputable jeweler once a year and it is not very expensive to do so.

No. It's just that most romantic relationships eventually end, and then you're left with your ex-lover's name printed on your body for the rest of your life.

You may think it's going to last forever NOW, but, statistically speaking, it probably won't. When you're in love, you never think it's going to end, so you can't trust your feelings. Even if you really think you'll be together forever, you have to acknowledge the possibility that you won't.

There are plenty of other ways to show your devotion to your boyfriend/girlfriend, besides getting their name tattooed on you. Sane, intelligent people don't need to prove their love for each other with a tattoo (although, I have heard of tattooed-on wedding "rings," which I actually think is a cool idea. They tattoo a band around your left ring finger).

People probably just say it's bad luck because it seems like people always break up after getting each other's names tattooed. But again, statistically speaking, most romantic relationships DO end eventually, so it's really not surprising that most lovers who get each other's names tattooed on themselves end up breaking up. The tattoo doesn't cause the relationship to end; it's merely incidental.

But if you want to get a tattoo of another loved one's name -- a family member, like your child -- then I say go for it. And again, no, it is not bad luck.

Here the lower barometric pressure is the factor as humidity is at l00 as the fish are in a saturated water environment. There are other, usual weather-oriented omens involving nature and animals which have some factual base, Earthworms come out in the rain oir after minor storms ( rain, not snow). and so on.

You can start by looking up the "pygmalion effect". Its a pretty neat story about believing. If your friend believes he or she will have bad luck, they will. Its called a self fulfilling prophecy.

fishing during full moon- sciences said that fishes goes out on their "houses" during full moon. why? because the light of the moon catches their attention so they sprout during that time.

exposing laundry under the sun- that's understandable. smart as you are, we could all obviously explain it. that includes the water cycle and evaporation.

telling time by observing shadows- (in Paris, some houses still uses this practice) uhmm, some said that the setting of the sun and the rising of it tells time so since its light reflects the shadow then they use shadow to tell time.
