Usually in India people have a superstitious belief of telling not to sleep by placing head in north and especially south, coz the lord of death, yama comes via the north side. This belief has been proven tat when sleeping through placing head at north or south disturbs brain since the magnetic radiation passes thro north to south and from south to north

In many countries like Great Britain and France black cats are seen as auspecious thing, but in many places of world a superstion is attached with black cats as if they crosses your way then bring bud luck and will make your venture in vain.

There is at least for my family. My mother (Chinese) told me not to sew at night growing up. I think it had something to do with shrouds being sewn at nightime and the association with that.

They aren't. However some tribes in Africa and the Middle East used to believe that dust devils were evil spirits.

Luck is a funny thing, it isn't as if your skin changes colour so you know you are lucky. More likely you will find yourself in fewer "unlucky" situations and have small serendipitous things happen in your life. Money does not fall from the sky within six hours of you finding a four-leaf clover, more likely, you will have a larger proportion of "good days" than "bad days", starting as soon as you find the talisman. After all, you were lucky enough to find it.
